Fold is for people who have decided they're done with betting, and want something in their pocket for the days that decision gets tested.
No lectures, no shame. Just the things that help when an urge turns up at eleven on a Sunday night.
WHEN THE URGE HITS
Tap Panic and Fold takes over. Breathing, to bring the volume down. Ride the Wave, an urge-surfing timer that stays with you until the urge passes. Or a quiet game, to put your hands somewhere else for a while. Whatever you reach for, Fold records that you got through it.
A WALL BETWEEN YOU AND THE APPS
Fold uses Apple's Screen Time to shield the betting apps, categories and sites you choose. You pick them, and iOS is the one that enforces it.
There is also an optional DNS profile you install yourself from Settings. While it is on, known gambling domains stop resolving, in Safari, Chrome and in-app browsers alike. And an optional message filter that keeps betting promotions from unknown senders out of your inbox. All of it is optional, and you can switch any of it off.
PENNY
Penny is an AI you can text at any hour, about a craving, a bad night, the money, or nothing in particular. She isn't a therapist and Fold says so plainly. But she answers.
YOUR NUMBERS
Days bet-free. Money kept, worked out from the spend you told Fold about. Urges you sat through. Ranks as it adds up. It's your progress, not a score anyone else is marking.
THE SQUAD
A feed of people doing the same thing on the same day. Post, reply, cheer someone on, see where you sit in the league. Everyone agrees to the rules before their first post, and you can report or block anyone at any time.
THE LIBRARY
A short course drawing on CBT ideas, narrated episodes for a walk, quick explainers on what betting does to the brain, and sounds to sleep to.
AN ALLY
Invite one person you trust. They install Fold and can see how you're doing: your streak, the money you've kept, when your last urge was. Nothing else, and Fold sends them no alerts.
A WORD NEAR A CASINO
Turn it on and Fold can say something when you've been standing at a casino or a betting shop. The check happens on your phone; Fold never receives a location.
HELP THAT ISN'T US
Every crisis screen carries the National Problem Gambling Helpline, run by the National Council on Problem Gambling, free and 24/7 on 1-800-MY-RESET, and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If you need a person, please call one.
Fold is a self-help app. It is not treatment and it is not a substitute for it. It's for adults.

Fold Pro - Weekly: $7.99 per week.
Prices are shown in US dollars and vary by country; the price you'll pay is always shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of that. Manage or cancel it in Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Fold now works wherever you are.
- The helpline and crisis line on the Panic screen, in the Library and inside Penny are chosen from your iPhone's region — never a number you can't call.
- Your money is shown in your own currency, from the first question to your streak.
- A region picker in Profile › Support, if your phone is set to a different country than the one you live in.
- Small fixes to the onboarding sliders and reminders (12/24-hour times follow your settings).
