Two reliability fixes for multi-pump households:
• Fixed a rare case where the "I've drained the pump" button after a freeze alert would fail on the first tap. Now succeeds reliably.
• Fixed a brief visual glitch where one pump's nickname could momentarily appear on the other pump's card.

What's new in 1.0.16
Under-the-hood reliability improvements. Nothing new to see in the app — everything just keeps working.

What's new in 1.0.15
• New "Hours since last oil change" row in the About screen. Check how much runtime has built up since your last oil-change ack, without waiting for the 500-hour reminder to fire.
• Small reliability polish.

What's new in 1.0.14
Big polish for controlling your pump when you're away from home:
• Remote connect on cellular is now nearly instant. Opening the app off-WiFi no longer sits on "Connecting to gateway…" — it goes straight to the cloud relay.
• Switching between pumps away from home is now snappy and no more red flashes. Previously the app briefly showed "Cloud Access failing" while it repaired the connection on the new pump — that's gone.
• Clearer messaging when Cloud Access isn't set up for a pump. If you open the app on cellular and a pump needs Cloud Access enabled, we tell you exactly what to fix at home instead of a generic "Gateway offline."
• Cloud Access setup can now self-recover from certain certificate mismatches automatically — no reinstall needed.
• Reliability improvements throughout first-time setup, Bluetooth linking, and Live Activities.
1.0.14 Jul 21
Reliability polish — mostly focused on what happens when you're away from home:
• When you open the app on cellular, the pump card now clearly explains if Cloud Access isn't set up for that pump — instead of showing a generic "Gateway offline." You'll know exactly what to enable when you get home.
• Switching between pumps while away from home now reliably reconnects to each one — no more sitting on a stale connection from your last pump.
• Cloud Access setup can now self-recover from certain certificate mismatches automatically. If your app's cloud cert ever gets out of sync with our servers, the app fixes it on the next enable attempt instead of asking you to reinstall.
• Behind-the-scenes reliability improvements to first-time setup, Bluetooth pump linking, and Live Activities.
1.0.13 Jul 18
Fixes for multi-pump owners and anyone who uses the app on cellular:
- Switching between paired pumps on cellular now works reliably. Previously, after selecting a different pump you could get stuck at "connecting to cloud relay" until you force-closed the app.
- Walking back into WiFi range now automatically switches the app from the cloud relay to your local gateway — no need to background/foreground or pull to refresh.
- Renaming a pump while on cellular now delivers instantly. Previously the rename could silently hang.
- Nickname changes made on another paired device (like a family member's phone) propagate reliably regardless of which network your app is on.
Under the hood: rebuilt the network-handoff layer to be event-driven — the app now reacts to real signals from AWS IoT and iOS's network stack instead of relying on timing assumptions that could fail on flaky connections.
1.0.12 Jul 18
NEW: Multi-Pump Support
Pair every Cool Mist ATX pump on your property to a single app.
Give each one a friendly name — "Patio," "Backyard," "Pool" —
and switch between them with a tap on the pump card at the top
of the home screen.
Per-Location Freeze Alerts
Each pump enrolls in Freeze Alerts independently. A cold snap at
one location won't ping you about another. When a freeze warning
arrives, tapping the notification opens the drain guide for the
specific pump that needs attention.
Home-Screen Alert Cards
Active freeze warnings now show as separate cards, each labeled
with the pump's name so you know at a glance which pumps need
draining.
Pump Names That Follow You
Your pump nicknames now sync automatically across devices and
survive app reinstalls — no re-typing "Backyard" every time you
switch phones or share access with your household.
Setup Polish
Running setup a second time on a paired pump now shows a clear
"already set up" label. And if the pump you're re-configuring
isn't the one you're currently controlling, the app leaves your
active pump alone.
Behind the Scenes
More reliable Cloud Control connection, quieter TestFlight logs,
and a lot of small UI improvements across the drawer sheets and
the pump switcher.

- Advanced Timer editor updates in real time. Reopening it right after a save shows your latest selection.
- "Use home WiFi" button only appears when your gateway is actually reachable from your current network — no more dead-end taps at work or coffee shops.
- Better accuracy when saving weekday-specific schedules. Requires gateway firmware 1.2.31 or later.
- Signal Strength card lays out cleanly on first appearance — no more brief layout shift while the first reading loads.
For the best experience, keep your gateway on the latest firmware. Check About → Check for updates.

1.0.9 Jul 10
Live Activities
Your pump now appears live on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. See mode, spray/pause intervals, and connectivity at a glance without opening the app.
Freeze Alerts
Get a push notification 24–48 hours before a hard freeze hits your area, giving you time to drain your pump. Optional and free — turn it on from the About drawer.
Smoother mode switching
Fixed a rare bug where quickly toggling the pump while switching between Simple, Advanced, and Nonstop modes could briefly show the wrong pump state.
Polish + reliability
Sharper Live Activity Lock Screen card, better handling of pump state during rapid taps, and a variety of stability improvements under the hood.
1.0.8 Jul 8
This update improves how honestly the app reports your gateway's status, and speeds up firmware updates and Cloud Control setup.
- Honest "Gateway offline" indicator. When your gateway is powered off or offline, the app now says so clearly — instead of showing the pump switch and controls as if everything is fine.
- Better guidance when your gateway is offline. Screens that used to say "Connect to your home WiFi" when you were already on WiFi now point at the real issue.
- Quicker firmware update checks. Tapping "Check for updates" now returns almost instantly.
- Quicker Cloud Control setup. Turning Cloud Control on now finishes in a few seconds instead of taking up to 12.
- Reliability improvements and small polish.
1.0.7 Jul 4
This update speeds up gateway setup and makes Contractor Mode easier to use.
- Quicker WiFi entry during setup. Tap "Use current WiFi" to fill in your network name automatically — no more retyping your SSID.
- The Contractor Mode banner is now visible on the welcome, discovery, and home screens, so you always know at a glance which mode you're in.
- New Exit button right on the Contractor Mode banner — one tap to switch back to your home gateway, no need to open Settings.
- Reliability fixes for the WiFi network name lookup.
1.0.6 Jul 3
Improvements in 1.0.5:
- Setting up a new gateway is more forgiving. You can now pair the gateway over Bluetooth from anywhere — you don't have to be on home WiFi first.
- If gateway setup runs into trouble, you'll see a specific message about what to check (wrong WiFi password vs. pump out of range vs. gateway not responding) instead of a generic timeout.
- Firmware version in About now updates as soon as the install finishes — you no longer have to close and reopen the app to see the new version.
- The "Cloud" indicator no longer briefly appears when you don't have a paired gateway.
- Cleaner handling when your home WiFi briefly drops: MQTT, Cloud Control, and Data Privacy screens now show a clear "Connect to home WiFi" message instead of failing silently.
1.0.5 Jun 28
Fixes and refinements in 1.0.4:
- Schedule edits made while away from your home WiFi now save correctly to your pump. (Previously, cellular schedule changes appeared to succeed but didn't actually reach the pump.)
- The MQTT setup screen now tells you to reconnect to WiFi when it detects you're on cellular, instead of failing silently.
- MQTT setup now shows your broker's connection status in real time so you can confirm it linked successfully before closing the screen.
- Cloud Control and Data Sharing toggles now show a warning that changes affect everyone paired to your gateway, not just you.
- Cloud Control toggle stays in sync if another device on the same gateway turns it on or off.
- Smoother handling of WiFi-to-cellular transitions for cellular users.
1.0.4 Jun 26
Reliability and polish, especially for Cloud Control when you're away from home.
• Faster switching between home WiFi and Cloud Control when you walk in or out of range.
• The "Use home WiFi" button gives clearer feedback and only shows when WiFi is available.
• Pump and mode controls now disable together with a one-line explanation when your gateway can't reach the pump.
• Advanced Timer warns when the pump's clock hasn't finished syncing.
• "Send logs" opens Mail with the support address pre-filled — one tap to send diagnostics.
• Reorganized the side menu so Cloud Control and MQTT are at the top.
• Crash fix for some WiFi-toggle scenarios.
