Sober Living Companion

Support for sober living homes

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Sober Living Companion is a secure, supportive app built for sober living homes and the people in them — a program of Empower Next Project, a non-profit. It gives operators the tools to run their homes and gives residents the support to stay accountable in early recovery. Residents always use the app for free. FOR RESIDENTS (always free) • Count your sober days and celebrate every milestone • Find AA, NA, SMART Recovery, and Recovery Dharma meetings — online and local • Check in at meetings with one tap (GPS-verified for your house) • Pay your membership fee in full or in partial payments — or send a loved one a secure link to help • Request overnight and multi-day passes • See house meetings and chores right on your home screen • Review and e-sign house agreements and lease/intake forms • View documents your facilitator has shared • A private nightly self-reflection and a supportive, moderated community • Reach your house instantly with an SOS button when you're struggling FOR OPERATORS & HOUSE MANAGERS • Run one or many homes under a single account, each with its own join code • Set each resident's membership fee and track payments at a glance • Bed occupancy, intake, and discharge management • Approve or deny overnight and multi-day pass requests • Curfew GPS check-ins with a live compliance view • Log UAs/drug tests, chores, and meeting attendance • Send lease and intake forms residents fill in and e-sign • Store documents (PDFs, Word docs, photos) on each resident's file • Add house managers assigned to specific homes • Instant alerts when a resident needs help PRIVACY & SECURITY Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access — residents control their own accounts, and staff see only what they need to support their home. A NON-PROFIT MISSION Sober Living Companion is built by Empower Next Project. A portion of what we raise helps fund residents in early recovery who are struggling to make ends meet — so they can focus on staying sober. Membership fees and any payments are made directly between residents and their sober living home through third-party services; the app simply records and displays payment status.
