Trip budgeting and funding
Give each trip a name, dates, and a Trip Fund — the amount you've set aside. TripFund compares it against your costs so you always know how much more you need to save.
Expenses by category
Organize spending into categories like Hotel, Flight, Meals, and Entertainment. Add your own categories, reorder them per trip so the ones you touch most sit on top, and collapse the ones you don't.
Per-category budgets
Set a budget for any category — say, $1,500 for meals — and watch a progress bar burn down as you log each expense, so you know how much you have left before you overspend.
Payment tracking with dates
Record each payment with its own date, whether it's already paid or scheduled for later. A Payments Due view shows everything still owed, soonest first, so a balance due at checkout never sneaks up on you.
Projected totals
See not just what you've spent, but what the trip is projected to cost once you spend your remaining budgets — so your bottom line reflects reality, not just receipts logged so far.
Stay organized across trips
Search your trips, filter by upcoming or past, and archive trips once they're done without losing the record. Duplicate a past trip to start a new one with all your categories already in place.
