a lot of night-outs have happened since our first release. this update is everything we learned. the brief. committed to an event? a few hours before doors you get the brief: the plan for the night, how to get in (entrance, parking, id), a tappable address that opens maps, and a few people worth finding in the room. no more showing up blind. groups got a glow up. your group now opens like a card in your wallet. one tap shows your people, who is hosting next, and past gatherings. if a host drops the ball, the gathering goes up for grabs and anyone can claim it. tabs. the night always ends with someone covering the bill. start a tab, pick who is on it, split it equally, by amount, or by percent. everyone sees what they owe and settles up with venmo. paid events, on your terms. hosts can now approve requests before anyone pays. you request a spot, your card is only charged if the host says yes. declined or expired requests never charge you. intimate stays intimate. sharing that actually shares. send an event to a friend and they get a proper invite with a picture, not a naked link. if they have the app it opens right to the event. if not, the page shows them the way. add to calendar, for real. one tap drops the event into your calendar right inside the app. fit and finish. swiping the deck is now seamless, no flicker between cards. launch is a clean off white, no flash. multi day events show their full dates. imported events without a listed time no longer invent one. editing a group plays nice with your keyboard. dozens of small things you will feel but never notice. see you out there.
