Relay: Share the Mental Load

Share the mental load

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Hand off whole areas of running your home, and let Relay carry the scope, the reminders, and the follow-up. The mental load, finally shared. Running a home is a second full-time job and most of it is invisible. Relay makes that mental load visible, then helps you actually share it. Instead of splitting endless little tasks, Relay lets you hand off whole areas of responsibility —"school & logistics," "doctors & health," "birthdays & gifts" — to your partner. Not a chore. The entire thing. HOW IT WORKS • Capture what you carry. List the areas of home life that live in your head. • Hand off a whole area. Pick one and pass it to your partner in a couple of taps. • Relay packages the scope. It gathers the context, the open threads, and the who-to-call — so your partner gets everything they need, not a vague "can you handle this?" • The app does the chasing. Every hand-off runs its own check-ins for two weeks. Relay follows up — not you. • See the load, split fairly. The Mental Load Report shows who's carrying what, this week and over time. A mirror, never a scoreboard. WHY RELAY IS DIFFERENT It's not another shared to-do list. To-do lists split tasks but leave the mental load — the remembering, the planning, the follow-up — with one person. Relay moves the whole responsibility, context and all, so it's genuinely off your plate. RELAY PRO Upgrade for unlimited areas and hand-offs, Couple Mode for two, and your full Mental Load Report. Subscriptions are billed through your App Store account; manage or cancel anytime. Made for couples and co-parents who want a home that runs on both of them.
