Watch Tower Pro maps 648,000+ publicly documented surveillance cameras worldwide — government CCTV, police license-plate readers (ALPR), speed and red-light enforcement, traffic monitoring, and dome cameras — and alerts you before you walk or drive into range.
Most people pass a dozen cameras a day without noticing. Watch Tower Pro is a privacy-awareness tool: it shows you what's documented so you can make informed decisions about where you go and how you get there.

- Fresh worldwide database: 648,000+ cameras, 66,000 added since the last release.
- Report a camera: drop a pin on the map to tell us about one that's missing, or flag a wrong location or type from any camera's detail screen.
- Search any city, address, or landmark.
- Color-coded markers by camera type, with a legend.
WHAT IT DOES
- Works completely offline. The entire worldwide database ships inside the app — no signal needed, no server to query.
- Color-codes every camera by type so you can tell an ALPR from a traffic cam at a glance.
- Optional proximity alerts: a local notification when you enter the range of an alert-eligible camera. Choose which types alert you and how close.
- Travel mode widens coverage automatically when you're driving so alerts fire at highway speed.
- Nearby list ranks every documented camera within 8 km by distance, with the operator where known.
- Directions to any camera, plus a link to its public source record.
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
- No accounts. No login. No analytics. No tracking. No ads.
- Your location never leaves your device. Alerts use iOS region monitoring entirely on the phone.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Camera reports are ordinary emails you send yourself.
- We do not include residential cameras (Ring, Blink, Nest, etc.). Their locations aren't public, and aggregating them would be wrong.
LIMITATIONS
Public databases lag reality. A missing marker does not mean there's no camera there — treat all public space as observed. Reported cameras are reviewed by a person and added in the next data update, never posted automatically.

OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), including the DeFlock community's ALPR mapping. Each camera's detail screen credits its source and links to the original record.

Bug fixes for the map.
- The search bar now takes text after you move the map by hand. It
could previously dismiss the keyboard the instant you tapped it.
- Panning around dense areas no longer stutters or freezes.
- Camera pins load without holding up the map, so panning stays smooth.
Thanks to everyone who reported these. No new permissions, and no
change to the camera database.
