When you're communicating with a co-parent, ex-partner, difficult coworker, landlord, or roommate, it's easy for a message to come out sharper than you intended, or to accidentally reopen an argument you were trying to close. Ambe checks your draft before you hit send. Paste in what you were going to say. Ambe tells you: • If it's fine as-is — no rewrite forced, just a clear "this is okay to send." • If it needs work — specific phrases are flagged with plain-language reasons, plus two ready-to-send rewrites: BIFF (Brief, Informative, Friendly, Firm) and Grey Rock (flat, fact-only, no emotional hooks). • If it only makes sense as a reply to something you haven't shared — Ambe asks for that context rather than guessing. • If it reads like you might be in real distress — Ambe won't rewrite it. You'll see supportive crisis resources instead. • If it contains a threat toward someone else — Ambe won't hand back a copyable version of the original. You'll only get a de-escalated alternative. Ambe is built specifically to catch calm-sounding manipulation and coercive-control language, not just angry tone — the kind of message that reads "reasonable" on the surface but keeps a conflict going.
