iPhone

Recording starts only after you attest that everyone in the room knows. Speech is transcribed on this iPhone; audio stays on it by default. Sovereign Scribe records a conversation only when you tap, transcribes it on your iPhone, and — on the paid plan — checks the factual claims people make against live sources while they are still talking. FREE, AND IT WORKS ON ITS OWN No account, and nothing you record is uploaded. Tap to record, and the iPhone transcribes what was said using a speech model that runs on the device. Replay any recording beside its transcript. IT ASKS FIRST A session cannot start until you attest that everyone who can be recorded knows about it and consents. There is no "don't ask again", and a paired room refuses a session that arrives without the attestation. You declare the jurisdiction you are recording in. Where it requires everyone's consent, the app shows you a line to say out loud, plays a chime, and announces "Recording started" before the microphone activates. An unknown jurisdiction is treated as all-party — the app never resolves an uncertainty into silent capture. IT SAYS SO WHILE IT RECORDS A red RECORDING banner is shown on every screen for as long as the microphone is live, and a Lock Screen and Dynamic Island indicator shows the same while the phone is locked. Both are bound to the audio engine. No setting turns them off. There is no hidden mode. AUDIO STAYS ON THIS PHONE BY DEFAULT Speech recognition runs on the device. This app contains no code that uploads audio anywhere. Recordings are kept on the iPhone so you can replay a meeting beside its transcript — protected by iOS Data Protection, excluded from iCloud backup, deletable one session at a time or all at once, and never exportable. On the paid plan, transcript text is sent to your own private room and nowhere else. WITH PRIVATE: CHECKED WHILE THEY TALK, SCORED WHEN THEY STOP Pair the app with your own room and the claims people make are checked against public sources during the recording. Cards appear as you listen: Confirmed, Uncertain or Contradicted, each with a one-line reason and its source. When you stop, the debrief arrives: an accuracy score from 0 to 100 with the count it was computed from, a summary, every claim with its verdict and source, what to follow up, and the full transcript. A recording in which nobody said anything checkable says exactly that instead of inventing a grade. SOURCE CHECK — A ONE-TIME PURCHASE FOR ONE RECORDING Unpaired, New Session carries a Source Check switch. Source Check sends the words spoken, never the audio, to a server SVRGN Inc. runs. It pulls out the factual statements and looks each up on public web sites. Each comes back one of two ways: a public source confirms it, with the source's own words and a link to the page, or we ask you to verify it yourself, with whatever we found. It does not judge who is honest, cannot check private facts, and can miss things. One purchase covers one recording. Not a subscription. Apple handles all purchases and refunds. WHAT IT IS NOT No analytics. No advertising. No crash-reporting SDK. No account with us to record. When you open New Session, the free app asks a server run by SVRGN Inc. for the Source Check price, sending a salted device code and nothing else. On the paid plan the app pairs with your own room using a code issued to you, and that room is the only server your transcripts go to. PLANS Free: recording, on-device transcription and replay, for nothing, forever. Source Check: a one-time purchase in the app for one recording, on the United States App Store. Private: your own room, live claim-checking and a written debrief with its accuracy score — an auto-renewing monthly subscription, bought in the app on the App Store at the App Store's own price. REQUIREMENTS An iPhone, and a one-time speech-model download of about 650 MB before the first session. You are asked first. The Private plan now describes itself the way it works: a written debrief after every recording, with claims checked against live sources. Everything in 1.0.1 is unchanged.
