SabettaPiro is an information tool for viewing satellite thermal detections, weather conditions and alerts in Sardinia and supported European territories. Sardinia is included free of charge. Other territories can be unlocked individually through non-consumable in-app purchases.
The app lets you:
• view recent thermal detections on the map;
• check the date, source, confidence and details of observations;
• view wind, cloud cover and weather conditions;
• save an area to monitor on your device;
• receive alerts for the selected area;
• restore purchases on other devices linked to the same Apple Account;
• check the sources and status of the services used.
A satellite thermal detection does not automatically mean that a fire has been confirmed. Data may be incomplete, delayed or refer to other heat sources. SabettaPiro is not an official emergency service and does not replace information issued by the competent authorities. If you see smoke or flames, contact the local emergency services immediately.
