Prayer Windows: Salah Times
Iqama, qibla, adhan & masjid
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
The whole Quran with translation, every dua of the prayer with its source, a tasbih counter, and prayer times that count down — all private, on your phone.
Every prayer app gives you one number per prayer. But trusted calculation methods disagree — Fajr can vary by 20+ minutes between ISNA and MWL in summer — and your mosque's timetable often differs from every app. Prayer Windows is built around that reality, honestly.
THE VALID WINDOW, NOT JUST THE START
See when each prayer begins and ends, a live countdown through the current window, and a sun-path chart of the whole day.
YOUR METHOD IN INK, OTHERS AS LIGHT MARKS
Choose ISNA, MWL, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura, or Karachi. Your method is shown in dark ink everywhere; the methods you compare with appear as lighter marks — never labeled wrong, just legible.
WHY TIMETABLES DIFFER
When methods disagree by more than a few minutes, Prayer Windows says so — and explains the twilight angles, madhhab shadow rules, and rounding conventions behind the difference in plain language.
YOUR MASJID, SIDE BY SIDE
Find nearby mosques, enter your masjid's published timetable once, and see its adhan and iqama beside your calculation — on the countdown card, in the schedule, and in the comparison table. Iqama reminders tell you when it's time to leave.
RAMADAN AND FASTING DAYS
During Ramadan the day becomes a fasting window: a suhoor deadline countdown before dawn, an iftar countdown through the day, and honest notes when methods disagree about the suhoor deadline. Making up a fast later? Mark any day as a fasting day and get the same countdowns and reminders.
ALSO IN PRAYER WINDOWS
• Month view with Hijri calendar and Islamic holidays
• Qibla compass with a live needle and gentle alignment haptics
• Notifications: prayer begins, halfway, window closing, iqama, suhoor, iftar
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
• Full dark mode, designed — not inverted
• Conventions settings: Dhuhr zenith pause and rounding, the minute-level choices apps rarely admit to
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Every prayer time is calculated on your device from the sun's position. No account. No ads. No analytics. No location history. The optional mosque directory search is the app's only network feature.
NEW — Quran tab: the full Uthmani text, one surah at a time, with a translation under every ayah. English is built in; other languages download when you choose them.
NEW — Duas: everything said before, inside and after the prayer, plus Witr and Jumu'ah, each with its hadith source. Quran passages open in the reader.
NEW — A five-stop guided tour on first launch, replayable from Settings → Help.
NEW — One-handed tap zone on the dhikr counter.
IMPROVED — Settings grouped into collapsible sections; nearby masjids now live under Settings → Masjid.
IMPROVED — Open the app far from your saved location and it tells you and offers to update, so times are never silently wrong.
IMPROVED — Faster and lighter: less background work, smoother Quran scrolling.
