Your rides, your data. A privacy-first cycling tracker with all the metrics that matter: speed, elevation, power, FTP, calories & more. Wasabi Cycle - Your rides, your data. Wasabi Cycle is an app built on a simple principle: your ride data belongs to you. No accounts. No sign-ups. No hidden analytics. No advertising trackers. Everything you record stays on your device, and nothing is sold or shared behind your back. If you want a capable, honest cycling computer in your pocket - without handing your movements to a data broker – this app is for you. Privacy comes first Your rides and profile are stored locally on your phone, protected by on-device encryption. Wasabi Cycle doesn't run a server collecting your data, and it doesn't track you across other apps or websites. The only information that ever leaves your device automatically is an approximate location (rounded to about one kilometer) sent to fetch local weather - your precise position is never transmitted for this. When you choose to share a ride, you're in control. An optional privacy zone removes the area around your start and finish first, so you can share a route without revealing where you live. You can export your data any time as CSV or GPX, or erase everything from the app with a single tap. The metrics that matter Wasabi Cycle captures the full picture of your ride in real time: • Speed, distance, and duration • Elevation gain and altitude, using your device's barometric sensor • Gradient and heading • Live weather - temperature and wind • Rolling splits so you can see how each segment compared • Estimated power, FTP, and calories • A full route map of where you've been Your rides are saved to a clean, editable log. Set an annual distance goal and Wasabi tracks your progress across the week, month, and year. Add past or other rides manually, review any ride on the map, and keep a complete history of your cycling - all in one place. Honest about estimates We believe a fitness app should be straightforward about how its numbers are produced. Several of the app’s metrics - including power (watts), FTP, and calories - are not measured by dedicated hardware like a power meter. They are calculated from your device's sensors and established physical models, using details such as your weight, bike type, gradient, and speed. That means these values are estimates. They're well suited to spotting trends and comparing your efforts over time, but they should be treated as approximations rather than laboratory-grade measurements. Used consistently, they're a genuinely useful guide to your progress; used as absolute truth, they'll mislead. We'd rather tell you that plainly. Built for riders who value both data and discretion Wasabi Cycle gives you the metrics of a serious cycling computer with the privacy of an app that simply doesn't want your data. Track your rides, watch your fitness trends, and keep everything to yourself. Ride private. Ride informed. Happy riding.
