MileHop
Mileage without tracking
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
100% FREE! Track trips, calculate reimbursement, and export clean reports. Supports saved locations, one-time stops, miles, kilometers, and regional currencies.
MileHop turns your recurring drives into accurate mileage records — without draining your battery.
NO BACKGROUND TRACKING
Most mileage apps run GPS continuously in the background, following your exact route the entire time you drive. That's what kills your battery, burns cellular data, and forces the app to keep running the whole trip. MileHop doesn't do that. It never tracks you in real time, and you don't even need to have it open while you drive. Just tap I'm Here when you arrive, and MileHop calculates the mileage between your last stop and this one.
SAVE YOUR LOCATIONS
Add the places you drive to regularly — offices, job sites, clinics, anywhere. MileHop remembers them so you never have to type an address twice. 2 saved locations are included at no cost, with the option to save more.
ONE-TAP CHECK-INS
Tap I'm Here when you arrive and MileHop detects which saved location you're at, logs the stop, and calculates the mileage — automatically.
BUILD A ROUTE, YOUR WAY
Don't just take Apple Maps' fastest route. Drag guide pins onto the roads you actually drive between two locations, and MileHop remembers your route for every future trip between them.
TRAVEL HISTORY, AT A GLANCE
Browse any day on the calendar to see your stops and mileage. Add a one-time stop for a trip you don't need to save permanently.
REPORTS IN SECONDS
Export a PDF or CSV report for any date range — today, this month, last month, or a custom range — ready to hand off for expense reports or reimbursement.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your mileage history lives on your device. MileHop only requests your location when you actively use it — never in the background, never while you drive.
Ratings & Reviews
MileHop now supports miles, kilometers and regional currencies! Your default distance unit and currency are automatically selected based on your device's region and can be changed anytime in Settings. Reports and reimbursement calculations have also been updated to use your selections. Also fixed a few bugs.
