PairSay 1.4 fixes what we found while filming our own demo. - The first words of a conversation are no longer lost: speech is kept while the app is still connecting and sent as soon as it is ready. - Translations now take the conversation so far into account, so a price such as "二十八块" reads as "28 yuan", not "28 pieces". - The language chips at the top fit on every iPhone and in every interface language: "Chinese" instead of a clipped "Chinese, Simplified". Recognition and translation can be wrong; confirm important details in person.

PairSay 1.3 simplifies the screen and keeps your past conversations. - A simpler top bar: the two language chips, face-to-face, past conversations, and one menu for everything else. - One button: Start and Stop. Stopping keeps every caption on screen; starting again continues the same conversation. - Past conversations are folded away, not deleted: a row at the top opens them. They stay on this phone for 90 days, are never uploaded, and a switch in the menu turns this off. - A lost connection is retried on its own, with the bar saying so; the network is only blamed once the retries run out. - Language names appear in your interface language, with the local name below. - Changing your own language mid-conversation now takes effect immediately. PairSay 1.2 rebuilds the conversation screen and widens the languages it understands. - Redesigned conversation screen: newest sentence stays at the bottom and no longer flickers while it is being spoken. - Automatic language discovery across 63 conversation languages; hearing one sentence is usually enough, and a third language can be switched with one tap. - A manual choice stays in force until you change it. - Sixteen interface languages, with Traditional Chinese captions for Chinese (Taiwan) and Chinese (Hong Kong). - Numbers are kept as digits and marked on both lines. - Reworked typing, including typing for the other person, and a reworked face-to-face view. - Failures appear as calm hints instead of error screens.
