Pressing Stop isn't enough. The alarm is over for good only once you clear a mission: solve a sum, walk 50 steps, or scan the barcode you left in the bathroom. Unsnoozy is an alarm clock you can't cheat. To turn it off for good, you clear a short mission, and by the time it's done, you're awake. PRESSING STOP ISN'T ENOUGH • With a mission set, pressing Stop takes you to the alarm screen. Start the mission and clear it to end the alarm; leave it, and the alarm rings again after your snooze interval. • Out of snoozes? It comes back 30 seconds after you stop working on the mission. • Alarms ring through Silent Mode and Focus, even with the app closed. TWELVE MISSIONS • Math: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Choose how hard and how many. • Shake: shake the phone a set number of times. • Walk: take the steps you set, from 30 to 300. • Pairs: remember the cards from a quick look, then match every pair. • Memory: tap the lit panels back in the same order. • Ninja: jump the daruma and duck the crows. • Tilt Maze: tilt the phone to roll the ball to the goal. • Snap: show the camera a thing you chose, like the sink or your shoes. • Squats: do squats in front of the front camera. • Push-ups: do push-ups in front of the front camera. • Eyes Open: face the camera and keep your eyes open. • Scan: scan a QR code or barcode you registered, like the toothpaste in the bathroom. Math, Shake, Walk, Memory and Snap are free. The others are one-time purchases, or all come with Unsnoozy Plus. Every mission can be tried for free first. YOUR MORNINGS, RECORDED Every wake-up is kept on your device: when you got up, how many seconds it took to stop the alarm, and whether you snoozed. Build a streak of days without snoozing, and look back over the last 7 days on a calendar. • Walk, Memory and Snap are now free. That makes five missions you can put on an alarm without buying anything. • The Alarms tab now leads with your next alarm and how long until it rings. Each alarm in the list shows its missions, with icons for what is switched on, such as snooze or the wake-up check. • Left a mission undone? A button on every tab takes you back to the alarm that is waiting, so you can clear the mission before it rings again. • Snap can ask for four more things: a washing machine, a microwave, a stove or a shower. • Fewer, clearer choices for the snooze interval and the number of snoozes.
