Follow a route someone shared — or record your own and hand it to anyone as a QR code. No accounts, no uploads: the whole route travels inside the link.
Follow Along turns any walk, run, or ride into a route you can hand to
someone else — as a link or a QR code that carries the entire route inside
it. No accounts. No server. Nothing uploaded, ever.
FOLLOW A ROUTE
Open a shared route and go. The path, your position, and the next stop are
on the map, and arrivals announce themselves with spoken callouts — the
phone can stay in your pocket. Every stop can carry a name, a story, and a
photo link, so a good walking tour feels like the creator is walking
beside you.
Tours are timed the relaxed way: only the walking counts, never the time
you spend lingering at a stop. Workout routes run a race clock instead,
with per-segment targets and live ahead/behind.
CREATE A ROUTE
Record as you go: walk it once while the app lays a trail behind you, and
drop waypoints at the turns and sights worth talking about. Elevation gain
comes from the barometer. Recording keeps working with the screen locked
and the phone pocketed.
Or build a tour without leaving your couch: search an address or tap the
map to place stops, connect them along real streets, check each pin
against street-level imagery, and write the names, notes, links, and walk
times your followers will see. On the walk itself, one tap re-pins any
stop to exactly where you're standing.
SHARE IT ANYWHERE
Every route travels as an ordinary link — or as a QR code you can print on
a sign, a flyer, or a museum placard. Scanning it delivers the whole
route: the path, the stops, the stories. Recipients see a full preview
before anything is saved.
AFTER THE WALK
A results sheet splits walking time from dwelling time, breaks the trip
into legs, and — for workouts — lets you turn today's actual times into
tomorrow's targets.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Follow Along has no server and collects nothing — Apple's privacy label
reads "Data Not Collected." Your location is processed on your phone and
stored only there. A route leaves the device exactly one way: you sharing
it, to someone you chose.

running-club courses, and every route worth walking twice.
