Track Your Steps, Distance, and Workouts — Right from Your iPhone or Watch.
Step It Up helps you stay active and motivated by tracking your steps, distance walked or run, flights of stairs climbed, workouts, active calories burned, and more. Built for iPhone and Apple Watch, it's a sleek and privacy-first way to stay on top of your daily movement.
That big orange ring on your Home screen isn't just decoration — it's your whole day. Steps, miles, floors, and how close you are to today's goal, updated in real time. Hit it, and Step It Up tells you so.
Step It Up also checks the weather so you don't have to. It'll nudge you toward the best window to get outside, and tell you why — so you're never guessing whether it's worth lacing up.
Step It Up isn't just about daily numbers — it's about progress over time. With built-in trends and insights, you can see your weekly average, how many days you hit your goal, and whether you're trending up or down over the last month, so you can build habits that actually stick.
Running, cycling, walking — Step It Up records your workouts properly: pace, heart rate, calories, and distance live, with a clean history you can view as a list or on a map.
Not sure what your step goal is or how this week compares to last? Just ask. Step It Up's built-in AI answers in plain language, right where you're already looking.

I’ve always wanted my Apple Watch to work like my Fitbit and this app does it beautifully—I know, I think I’ve tried most similar apps. I’ve checked this app’s counting accuracy and it’s dead on. I’ve needed this for a long time. Thank you!

Keeps changing my step goal and lbs. to kg ?
Lady Fiammetta Roisin
This app is great at surface level seems to do what it’s supposed to however several times now my weight has been changed from lbs. to kgs. on my watch through no effort from me. As in I didn't change it. In fact I’ve tried to change back to pounds and it reverts back to kg. Anyone else have this issue?? Additionally my step goal and weight are set correctly on phone with pounds and 10k steps but show up as kgs. And 8k steps on my watch?? What am I missing here? I’ve changed on watch but reverts back to kgs. And 8k steps on its own. My goal weight on watch is also incorrect but it is correct on iPhone? What gives? Suggestions please. And no I am not traveling so can’t understand the kg. To lb. conversion on its own.

Ok but does not provide every feature promised
WalkingTori
I purchased the app specifically because it has Rest Days, and it said I can “adjust your daily step/push goal based on days you know you’re more/less active” when marking a day as a rest day. However all it does is turn off the goal feature entirely. This makes it the same as every other step counter app. It’s well designed over all but without this additional feature I feel that I wasted my money
Steps not showing correctly on Apple Watch face.

This app was working great when I first downloaded it to my Apple Watch 4. However since the last update of apple software, the Step It Up app is not showing the updated number of steps and it seems to not want to update after you get over 10,000 steps. If I click on the app and open it, it will show the right number of steps. But on my watch face, the number of steps does not always update.
