Long-Press to Drag should not not disengage after letting go
Yert ei
UPDATE: The dev listens. So changed review from 3 stars to 4 stars. There is some hitching issues when moving the mouse horizontally. I move the mouse to the right and it hitches back to the left as I continue moving right. Maybe the unified server program on windows and Linux needs updating. I wish the server program was better at working on windows and Linux (Steam deck/machine) as soon as the computer is started and it on the Lock Screen where I put in the password. But I’m glad we’re getting updates after 5 years of nothing. Happy I paid for the app back then. Prior to the new update, long-press to drag would allow you to continue dragging after lifting your finger. You would need to long-press again to disable the dragging. This was very useful when dragging windows from one side of the screen to the other while having your phone in portrait mode. Please reinstate this feature or at least allow us to have an option in settings for it. I used the hold to drag feature everyday but now it takes forever to drag a window since everything I lift my finger after moving it to the edge of my phone, and reposition my finger on the opposite edge of the phone to continue dragging, then the drag would disengage and I would have to long press again. The long press takes at least a second to activate, and the phone will vibrate, so having to constantly reengage the long press leads to a lot of time to do a simple thing like drag a window to the other side of the screen to snap it in place. Please reenable this feature.

A fix is already on the way! Thanks for your patience.
Exactly what I was looking for! "It Just Works"

If you use a PC as a home theater device this is what you need. The full version of the app is $5 and honestly this is the easiest $5 I've ever spent. It's loaded with custom remotes that work specifically with programs such as VLC Media Player and even iTunes which surprised me because of the whole "Walled Garden" thing since this app wasn't directly made by Apple. If you have a disc drive, there's even an eject and retract tray button - how cool is that?! If you've ever used the Remote app to control an Apple TV - I would say this is a comparable experience in terms of lag/latency and ease-of-setup. You get the full trackpad, typing with the iPhone keyboard works perfectly, and there is virtually no delay in commands. It also works over LAN just like the Harmony Elite (wrongfully discontinued, RIP) so you don't have to be connected to the full internet for it to work - just a router by itself and you're good to go. I cannot express how in love I am with this solution - truly a Gem. Thank you so much to devs for making this happen, it's not very often I'm actually willing to spend money on an app. Excellent job.Edit: I forgot to mention this app also offers a fully-functional widget that can be added to your homescreen. This widget can be customized to have links to any custom remote you wish and it loads extremely fast. This means that you can use this app with the exact same level of convenience as having the Apple TV Remote in your Control Center.
Great app with caveat

If you use your computer instead of TV for entertainment, then this app is for you. Laid back in your comfy chair or sprawled out in bed Unified Remote acts as mouse and keyboard in one universal remote. Want to blast some music on your computer while cleaning the house / apartment, just carry your phone w you w UR on it and u don’t have to hurry back to computer when a crappy song comes on. But what pisses me off with the app is first it drops the connection too often and second, Full-Version status does not automatically restore itself when you re-download the app - one of the suggested fixes for dropped connections.
An excellent app

This is the best of the remote apps in my opinion. Simply, clean, and easy to set up and understand. The UF program on the computer runs automatically so once you’ve got it set up (takes five min max), you can always just pick the computer from the list in the app, and you’re golden. I think that makes it a little more efficient than BlueTooth as well.I’ve read the other reviews but I have never once had a problem with dropped connections or any of the other complaints, and I’ve had this app for years. The free version very generously has pretty much everything you could need, and the pro version just adds a lot of things for convenience’s sake. Seriously, a big thanks to the devs, this app deserves 5 stars all around
Fixed trackpad drag behavior, added more haptic feedback to the trackpad (optional, see Settings → Mouse & Keyboard → Haptics)
