I use this app on an iPad to read the Altoona Mirror. I have to login every time because there is no option to stay logged in. I tried to contact App Support but the link goes to an error page! I sent emails to various staff through the Mirror’s webpage customer service staff listings but they apparently don’t have anything to do with the app or care to pass the email on to the developer which I asked to have done.
Update from “Not seamless” to “improved”

Review update Jan 2020...experience has improved. Pages now “turn” properly. Some are slower to load than desired, but I no longer need to close and reopen the app to refresh it Original review: Nov 2019 ...Since the recent “upgrade”, the experience has gotten much worse. Pages don’t always load. This requires closing out the app and restarting, sometimes multiple reloads, and that doesn’t always work. To turn the page requires pinching the page smaller then swiping...usually every page requires this. Pages often appear out of focus requiring another restart. Very frustrating experience, almost every morning
Needs to wok better in landscape mode
Mike Shan
Overall, this app does a decent job of making the Altoona Mirror available on an iPad. My one largest complaint is that it does not work terribly when the iPad is rotated in landscape mode. The main (intro) page doesn't adjust at all, and the "pages" view shows a horizontal gray bar that obfuscates about one-third of the paper.
Get some help
A little change would help
So people today still want the news We just want it to be digitized. I can even get your sight downloaded cause you don't have a forget password spot. And then people sit in a meeting and blame everyone but themselves for failing revenue. Better get an IT department that is cutting edge and updating ur format w the times constantly or it will be a nice slow painful death for ur business.
- Added tool tip for viewing pages
- Enhanced page view navigation
- Clicking left/right side margin of page changes page
- Added link to puzzles (sudoku and crosswords)
- Bug fixes
