Civista Bank, formerly Citizens Bank is the best most honest and friendly bank in the Midwest. Since the recent growth of the bank to Indiana and western Ohio In Napoleon and the surrounding areas, the bank has remained the reliable home town bank that we have known and trusted for years. As a matter of fact, my father and Grandparents banked with Citizens (Civista) for as long as I can remember. Actually for several decades longer than I can recall. I know the family business was run with the help of Civista. I received my first car loan from Civista. And just about every loan in the family since. If you are looking for a friendly, reliable place to keep your finances, you really can’t do any better than right here at Civista.

First, I'm using an iPhone 8; not a big screen. This app wastes SO MUCH screen space on useless things. Right now, EVERY TIME I SIGN IN, I have to close the SAME two messages that I've seen for the last couple of months. That lets me get back almost 1/4 off my screen. Suggestion: once I've acknowledged a message, REMEMBER and don't show it again! Second, get rid of the chat button. It's ALWAYS in the way, I have used it ONCE and probably won't ever again, after they screwed up my account. Because of the chat button, I can no longer log out of my account on the app, because that stupid blue chat icon is covering the icon I need to use to sign out. THAT'S secure, I'm sure!! All in all, it lets me see my balances, move money between accounts, but that's about it. And isn't that what bank app supposed to do in the first place? You don't get extra marks and kudos for just hitting your target.

Not sure why Civista is so different from others when it comes to deposits on holidays! The bank I was with for many years as well as many of my friends banks! I’ve always had my deposits early by usually a day or so! However like when TheHoliday is the day before our deposits are posted ! Civista is throne who NEVER post before a holiday when like the 3rd falls on a Saturday,Sunday as well ! It’s never early! This is my one dissatisfaction with Civista.
