Incredible watch—faulty app

I’ll start by saying that the Search2 GPS watch is incredible. Unfortunately it looks like after they made an incredible watch they only put in half of the effort to making an app to go along with it. Firstly the app crashes if you try to change settings or do anything out of the ordinary (like crop a surf session where you accidentally recorded the drive home). Secondly, fairly basic functions like showing the total sessions/waves/time/distance in the logbook aren’t reading consistently. I got the watch about a week ago and I’ve logged about 8 sessions so far. If I press “last 28 days” it’ll say 0 sessions; if I select “year to date” it’ll say 8 sessions; if I select “all time” it’ll say 0 sessions. Then the next day all of those will be completely flipped around. 8 in the last 28, 8 year to date, 0 all time.... or some variation like that. PLEASE FIX THE BUGS IN THE APP—I really want to love this watch/app combo but it’s hard when one of the two is not meeting the bare minimum standards!

NOT RELIABLE

I got this $400 watch as a Christmas gift with normal expectations. I followed the app directions, got the watch to sync and off I went to surf. It tracks distance and GPS locations well but the wave count is WAY off. I surf in Southern California where the waves are really consistent. I catch 6-8 in an hour where the watch shows 1 wave. Today was the breaking point, I caught a head high wave at least 120 yards long with 4 solid backhand snaps. I then check the watch and NOTHING. I will still use it to track my distance but wave count BLOWS, straight up garbage!

I love the watch but this app and supporting databases/servers are terrible. Lots of bugs and over the last 5 days the database base has been down.

Please Ripcurl fix the backend it’s want we need to view our surfs.
