Great for surf and general health and well being.

Cris lays out an easy to follow system for improving and maintaining optimal physical health for more quality time in the surf and in general. As a 45yo fairly new surfer, following Surf Strength Coach (SSC) System has greatly improved my time in the surf through strength training but most importantly through systems of recovery and the understanding of maintaining the muscular structure. My time tending to injuries and missing surf time has greatly reduced and pin pointed to proper action needed to be ready for the next session. In a short period (just 3 weeks) of following Cris’ system not just my understanding of the sport has greatly improved but pain reduction after surf sessions, recovery times, defense against injury even sleep has improved. Now thanks to SSC I don’t miss opportunity when swells come because my body can’t. I can see that this is only the beginning as well, there is so much content within the app and I haven’t even gotten through all the workouts to my optimal level and understanding. I’m excited to see my full potential! Thank you Cris Great App!

Great All Around Program

I recently purchased the perfect pop up and the surf athlete. I am 48 years old and between a crazy travel schedule for work and life in general my surfing has taken a back seat. I recently started surfing more and it was a disaster to say the least. I was extremely inflexible and not surf fit. The pop up I had been getting away with was no longer working and I was getting frustrated. Both of these programs have been such a huge help. I can practice the pop up as well as do workouts where ever I go. When I am back home I can focus on surfing and catching waves instead of just trying to get by hoping to catch whatever I can. The thing I love about the programs is that you can make them work for you. I tried following Chris’ pace but it was way put of shape. By spending more time on certain things I was eventually able to get on pace with the workouts. I feel great and surfing has become something I can’t wait to do.

You’ll feel healthy, mobile and strong!

I stumbled upon Cris and his work about 8 years ago and started on his older Surf Strength Training programs. Fast forward to present day and here I am writing him a review. What has impressed me the most is his focus, his commitment to fitness and to health and wellness overall. His programs continue to evolve, which shows me he is always learning and staying up to date with what is best for the body. His methodology and his routines have my body feeling strong, stable and moving the right way. The best part is... I maybe surf a couple times a year but his workout, stretch and mobility routines allow me to stay strong, mobile and flexible, which carries over to many different activities besides surfing. He also always responds whenever I have questions. I can't say enough great things about Cris and his workout routines and the community he is building. Great job Cris!! And anyone reading this... get into it!
