I'm disabled, so while people are discovering this terrific App due to Covid-19, for those of us who have been living in lockdown for years EarthCam is a Godsend. One wish for the future: more cameras! The sales guys need to hustle up more clients, and try and get people to use them for other than immediate travel. One day soon, we will be able to travel again, so seeing Phoenix would be nice (just for a example.) More cameras in Ireland would be a dream for me, since I probably won't be able to visit there in this lifetime. Temple Bar, while entertaining, I would love to see more. Again, this is a wishlist/suggestion. In regard to the functionality of this App, I've never had an issue. $5 is a steal and adorable, and you can see more cams on their website. It is the best webcam App on the web. Thanks to the developers and the EarthCam team!

Let’s be real here. Covid is the worst. Especially for those like me who’s illnesses got in the way of going outside. When I stumbled upon EarthCam I was lonely, isolated for 7 months, suffering from excruciating medical pain and living alone. I gladly paid the few dollars to gain access to all of the features. And I was NOT disappointed. While on bed rest I would travel to a pub in Ireland, singing along to all the songs the bar patrons sang. I then attended a wedding in Vegas ordained by Elvis, pink Cadillac and all. And lastly I watched the sunset in Honduras, overlooking a beautiful bay. All this while in my bed. If you’re like me and have a hard time going out, and are in serious need of a social fix, this is the app for you. Thanks EarthCam, I am dreaming of the day I can pull up the app at that Dublin bar and see myself! One day I will!

I downloaded this app to see all the pretty views around the world live (since we can’t go anywhere due to Covid). For the most part it delivers. Some cameras even have sound. I love listening to Niagara Falls. With that said, there are a couple of drawbacks:1. Not all cameras work, and some that are “on” are completely black and have no view2. Some cameras have you looking at a still image and not a live view. 3. I downloaded this app on both of my devices (iPhone and iPad). I paid for the premium version on my iPad, hoping it would automatically work for my iPhone as well. It does not. I would have to pay an additional $4.99 to add it to my iPhone. Not a huge deal, but I’m still debating. It is a one-time fee and NOT a subscription, which is great!!UPDATE: when I went to purchase the cameras for my iPhone, the store already notified me that I had made the purchase, so I automatically got the cameras without having to pay another $4.99Definitely worth it to download this app, especially if you feel alone. Somebody is always awake to watch from afar.

My favorites are the tropical places and Botswana, they are like a mini vacation every day and the sunsets are breathtaking! My only complaint (and why I’m not giving this app a 5 star rating) is they need to clean the cameras WAY more often! Anything by the ocean is going to get sea spray and all other cameras just dust alone or a cobweb not only interferes with the enjoyment of the views but also gets annoying because the camera view is pixilated since it’s constantly focusing on what’s in view vs. what’s on the lens. Any place that has a camera should have to clean the lens regularly (once a week if by the ocean!). It really would make a HUGE difference in the enjoyment of this app. But overall love love love this app! Please add more international locations that aren’t just intersections of a main square/street. Thanks EarthCam!
