I appreciate the delivery personnel very much. They did a superb job! They were polite, careful, thoughtful, kind & helped me move some other items in the room. I really appreciate it and I will ask for them again. Thanks so much to both of them! The only problem I had was with getting the couch delivered through the customer service agents. They still had me scheduled for the original delivery even though I had called and told them I was sick. I called back because delivery personnel weren't informed plans had changed, and they started the delivery. I called customer service back and stopped the process but I'm certain this was frustrating to the delivery personnel. Then today, the delivery plan was overlooked. I had to call in and get Customer Service to reset the Delivery. Because of that, the original Delivery Personnel wasn't able to do the delivery. They did get me a great team to get my sofa but it was late in the day. I was getting worried they weren't going to make it at first. Customer Service had to cancel the 1st time I scheduled delivery. They had no one to go get it. Then, we had to postpone it a week. That part was very frustrating. Today I was also double billed for the delivery. Again, I had to call and get it straightened out. It in fact still might not be. The agent told me a hold was placed on our card for the charges. That's fine but the card was charged again today. I was told if the first charges don't fall off to send a copy of our bank statement in to them. That's not good! Anyway, the point is that your delivery people I've had are excellent and Customer Service needs to do a lot better!

I was at Costco and had no clue how I was going to get a huge sectional that was perfect for our den home. One of the employees suggested Dolly. I called the number to get a little more information. It was about 1:30pm on Friday. It would be $77 to take it up a flight of stairs. That was a great price for me to save the hassle of going to U-Haul to get a truck, hiring a day worker (who has no background check and may go by only a nickname) to help me move. Then there’s the joy of refueling the truck and taking it back. The next available time was at 3:30p. I thought it would be the next day because I called so last minute. The “helper” arrived early which was great. I had no idea how quickly all of this would unfold. I needed to go back home to empty the room a little. Costco allowed me to leave a receipt there so I didn’t need to be present for the helper to take the furniture out. I was home for only about 30 min cleaning frantically and got a call that they were outside with our stuff. It was a husband and wife team who were professional and friendly. She was petite and I was a little skeptical because the furniture was heavy. The two of them knocked it out in impressive fashion. I would definitely recommend this service to a friend and use them again!

They seemed really together at first. Great app functionality on iPhone, easy to make changes. Customer service even answers the phone and you don’t float around automated-phone system space. I called bc I noticed they only use pick up trucks which wouldn’t suffice for a secure highway journey of two white Crate & Barrel sofas. The helpful receptionist said “if you decide to book w Dolly just call ot text once you have a job number and we’ll add ‘needs box-truck’ to your job notes”. “Great!” I said, and did exactly that. In rapid time my driver texted a status report, and so I texted my note request, but got no reply from either the driver himself or from the Dolly SMS chat team. So I called and listened to a looooong recording informing me that the ENTIRE COMPANY was closed for some team-building exercise... on a business day, during business hours!!! I’m all for team building, but couldn’t the receptionist who refused to set up my account with special request notes have, at least, told me the offices would be shut down the next day...the day she advised me to call??? Hello??? Is it just me, or are we overlooking some important essentials here? Like the customer experience , for instance. You had me (and I move a lot of furniture as a collector, resale-er, and decorator). And if Rufino comes through, ya might keep me. But at the moment, I’m feeling like ya lost me. ☹️ I was so excited too, because you seemed like the solution to my biggest resale designer challenge.

WORST COMPANY EVER PERIOD
If you have no other option buyer be aware. Herman and deleon I believe was their names. Let’s start off with that when the helper got there he thought was moving stuff from upstairs to downstairs. Granted we gave them two addresses so not sure where the stupidity started. So then the other shows up thirty minutes late. They was supposed to bring truck but guess they thought since was a woman they could try and weasel their way out. Well joke on them cause I didn’t return the uhaul van yet. So then they had no choice but to continue job. I was at work and my sister was there. She recorded all and audio as well. They talked so much that they literally almost ran my headboard into the living room wall. They damaged the old property wall, they didn’t even load up everything. Mind you I paid for two hours and got work of one hour and ten minutes. So moving on to the other house. They was refusing to unload everything and threaten to take off with stuff. My sister got this all on recording till I told her to tell them Newark police who I know some officers can be called. All of sudden they started to unload. They damaged my dressers, my tv stand and footboard. The way he spoke to my sister and the damage he did you are better off picking someone off the internet who never has done this before. Those other reviews must be bogus. The google reviews I wish I had found first cause they are spot on. Stay away from this company unless you don’t care to spend money and have your stuff damaged.
