I scanned my Hoosier Lotto (+Plus) ticket with the app’s ticket checking function and I was told that I won $2. I play often though so I like to know if I had chosen fairly accurately or if I was nowhere close. This is where I am now, when I manually checked my numbers with the app’s winning numbers for this specific game’s draw time and date, and taking into account I did not purchase the +Plus game add-on feature, I have 3/6 and according to the app (again) that should register a payout of $4. After multiple scans and rechecks the app tells me that I won $2. (If I had played the add-on feature I would have reached 4/6 numbers for $25, so I’ll definitely be playing it in the future.) I think the app would benefit from stating what the game’s results are being computed from in addition to the payout. (You got 3/6 for a $4 win!) This would help to clear up some ambiguity in the complicated game scoring system that Hoosier Lottery uses and help to quickly determine whether it is a mistake of player’s understanding of game rules or if in fact the HL/app/lottery is the one to blame. As the system is now if I take the ticket into a cashing agent they will scan it and probably get the same message($2winner) but to me it appears to be a winner of twice as much money. Unfortunately, I Now have to call the 800 number and wait in queue for an agent to get this matter resolved. Otherwise I like the app, aside from the occasional crashes after updates (two updates ago, iOS) Last item I would like to address is what is holding INDIANA up in the online slots industry? PA, WV, OH, IL, NJ+++ (and KY thru the KY Lottery app alone all have passed legislation that allows me to pay to play online…INDIANA already has land based casinos, but lacks (casino/slot machine) internet gaming (aside from sports wagering).
The new scratch

I’ve been playing the lottery ever since it began. I play the scratch offs. They came to almost quit playing the scratch while cause it seemed like they never pay off. Seems like they never pay the big Because they’re always starting a new game every month. Can’t check online to see if they have remaining. I played the Hoosier Lottery with a group of friends. We bought 60 sets of numbers every week for 25 years. We hit five numbers twice. Then when they went to two dollars a ticket we quit that not happy with the lottery.

Have had trouble the last two Mondays not being able to play the game! I did everything recommended to fix the problem with no luck. I’ve been playing since it’s conception except for the last two weeks and am being told they don’t have a problem with the app. Nothing has changed on my end. Lost for an answer! I can’t register my non winning Hoosier Lottery Tickets for the 2nd Chance Drawing on the app or on my laptop. Problems all the time!🤨
A popup takes priority.

Unfortunately, an otherwise good app is ruined by the fact that every time I launch it, a popup advertising some new game or other lotto news has to pop up first. I can't scan a ticket until the popup finishes loading and appearing. I can't swipe to check the lotto numbers from different games either. If you are on a slow internet connection like a lot of rural Hoosiers might still be, this app will waste 1-2 minutes of your time catering to the popup before you can use it. I've used this app for years, and none of the popups have ever been useful in any way to me. They are such a bad idea and a terrible nuisance.
