The guards at Cimarron hills are very good. They are diligent and pay close attention to who should be let in to our community. Also quick to report any issues. We’ve had some turnover in the last year but I have confidence things will level out. Ron who has led the team since I’ve been here is the absolute best! He has other responsibilities now but I’m confident he can bring up a new team here. App is easy to use!

I’ve used this app for years. It does it’s job, but is super annoying. Some very minor software tweaks would make a huge difference: 1) Allow for special characters and spaces in the names. this would allow me to put both a husband’s and wife’s name on the same line (if I don’t know who is driving through the gate). Also allow for hyphenated names, and those that may use an apostrophe. It’s insulting that an app dictates how a name should be written. many people have two part names with a space. 2) The temporary date feature doesn’t work very well. When I put in a date the scroll often jumps to another day, and when it saves it lands on another day. It’s just very glitchy. I think it would be better if it weren’t a “scroll” and maybe use a calendar to click the date. Capturing the correct temporary dates is very glitchy and annoying and wastes time.

We live in a guard gated community. We find this app to be reliable and helpful. While generally polite, the “guards” provide very little actual security, and are more like gate attendants. Security protocols do not appear to be consistent and guards seem uninterested in assisting when there is a security concern and instead routinely refer people to contact the police no matter the reason. With respect to routine operations, the gates are often wide open for no apparent reason. Also, it is infuriating when a visitor goes through the resident lane and everything backs up. The guard should require them to circle around and go through the visitor lane. Most residents of this community do not feel that we are getting our money’s worth from this “security” company.

I live in a gated community and we moved to Gate Sentry for a while ago and it’s been great. Allows me to easily add visitors and service professionals/deliveries to my approved list (permanently or for a specific period of time). I get instant notification anytime someone is admitted to the neighborhood giving me a few minutes to prepare for guests and get ready for deliveries. Easy to use and works as intended - can’t ask for much more.
