Honeywell HRGX App is video surveillance iPhone application, which supports HRG and HRGX series DVR of Honeywell that supports standard H.264 video codec. Honeywell’s HRGX iPhone app lets you remotely monitor, search, and play back video, and control PTZ cameras, from an embedded HRGX DVR via a wireless network or mobile data connection. The key features include: • Real-time video preview of up to 16 channels; • Swipe for PTZ control and camera movement, pinch to zoom in and out in preview mode; • Support for preset activation and configuration, as well as calibration for brightness. • Snapshot support; •Management of up to 100 sets of devices. Device profiles can be added / deleted / modified.

Worked for about three week, now neither iPad or iPhone works or other family members works.So why did I spend the money on a Honeywell security package when I can't see it working while away from home?Guess they took their past name and stupidly I believed it was a good name to get products from, never again!

iOS 14.2 upgrade now app not working

It appears as though Honeywell shut down the ability for the app to display live feeds of their cameras unless you are on the same WiFi network. Defeats the purpose of the app value. When I’m home and want to see who is in our driveway, I can just look out a window.

New app isn't working efficiently either

If you guys don't fix these bugs and keep the software up to date, you're going to lose customers. I have had the new HRGX app for 30 days and of that time frame, my remote playback has not worked 15 of those days. This is ridiculous. We pay your salary and expect a RELIABLE SERVICE AND APPS!
