I’ll give it a chance but.... I don’t sell albums...I just collect. I keep track of the condition, where I purchased the album and when. The steps for viewing my notes is cumbersome now. The list it in place is useless for me since I don’t list any of my collection. Also....can we add the old view back in as an option. When at record stores I use the app to quickly look up to see if I already have an album in my collection and the condition. These new views are also very cumbersome. It’s so much harder to scroll down through cover art to find the artist. Really not happy with the new version.....Update....I just found the search tool to search my collection which would help except it doesn’t work. You type the first letter and the search goes away without actually searching. Also...have it set to sort by last name....it works with some...Glen Burtnick is under B but Patsy Cline and Peter Gabriel are showing up in the P’s.The search to search in my collection is not working at all. As soon as I type the first letter the keyboard goes away and it still sits there at the beginning of the A’s. I can tap in the search and add another letter and it does the same again. I can bring up the keyboard again and tap the blue search and it does nothing. Between no longer having the ability to select a place in the alphabet with the bar down the side and the search in the collection not working it’s a real pain to look up something in a large collection. You’ve added ways to play music....there’s plenty of other ways to play music.....I just want to easily keep track of my collection and this no longer seems the way to do it.

Thanks for the feedback. It’s really appreciated. Discographic is an app focused in collectors, not sellers. We have added the option to list records to collectors as a “plus” feature. The “notes” button is currently just below the previous button placement, and it’s visible without scrolling when opening your collection items. Additionally, you could access your notes directly in your collection list just tapping the visible “notes” button, swiping to left a item of the list or opening the contextual menu with a long press tapping. There’s no need to open a release to check them. I have checked out right now the search/filter function and it works as expected: It filters collection and wantlist correctly without issues. Finally, the alphabetize by last name sorting option is not infallible as it is stated on the app: it uses the artificial intelligence capabilities of the new bionic chipsets to detect who is a person with a real name to sort them accordingly. In older devices some artist could be wrongly sorted. Newer chipsets get a 96% of accuracy, older ones a 80%, but there is an option in the app to sort them manual and permanently. Long press in any item or swipe it to left to sort it manually. Also you could also tap the arrow buttons in the artist header to sort it up. The app offer multiple ways to access options.

I hate subscription-based apps where the payments are subtracted automatically. Like all of us, too many electronic monetary numbers swirling around too many accounts/apps. I'm trying to minimize what goes out without my explicit knowledge each n every time, so a one-time payment to their Pro version is ideal for me. Being able to switch between accounts is very handy, and the ability to list things in the marketplace is seamless. Not sure if I can export a collection to another account, or transfer a want list from one account to another, but if I can...6/5 stars. If I can't, I'm sure they'll jump on it. Fun fact: early creator of this app used to use my account to beta test certain features, as my collection is not only somewhat large but very "fluid" in the comings and g-...mostly just comings, as I have trouble letting go n selling ;)
Great handy and useful Discogs app.

This is my favorite Discogs app that I’ve used. There is a good all around ease of use and overall look of the app and layout. Searching for releases is easy and typically a quick task, depending on the release of course. The integration of your folders is better than the other apps in my opinion. Super handy to have in your pocket when at record stores. Developer pays attention to user feedback and makes improvements. *after a response of developer answering if paying again for the all new updated version was a one time fee and not a monthly subscription, this continues to be my choice on how to access Discogs.

[Update 2/12/2022]The new in-app purchase is a single payment, not a subscription fee. If you purchased the app after May, 1st 2020, you will get a free update. The AppStore’s Discographic page has the option to contact us via email. Apple has made mandatory to supply a support address in every app. I listen to the feedback of users. For instance, In your previous review you asked for a switch to override light/dark mode on the app, no matter the option you chose on the phone, and I implemented your suggestion in the next update. The changing of the purchase model of the app and the introduction of in-app purchases wants to keep this kind of attitude towards users and their feedback, as it allows to keep me involved on the maintenance and periodic update of Discographic. [Original response]Thanks for the feedback, it's really appreciated. Next update (4.0.3) will add a switch in configuration to enable/disable dark mode. I've also enabled iTunes Previews again. Apple Music replaced iTunes previews in the new version, though.Recent History option is also enabled again. The reason for removing it in the first place is the fact that Discogs had been blocked third party apps to get this data, so the feature is extremely buggy and this is out of our control. Sometimes works and sometimes don't.Version 4.0 is not a mere update of an app with almost six years since I published in 2015: it's a complete reworking to get it active and healthy for at least six years more. We have rewritten it from scratch without charging again to current users.
Almost perfect..

I love this app to bits, it’s loads better than the app that Discogs provides, particularly where organization and UI are concerned. I’m still trying to find a detailed explanation of what the pro version entails, because rn it doesn’t seem like I received any upgrades or new features that I didn’t have while using the free version. If the $10 is just to support the developers, I have absolutely no problem with that, but if that’s the case there needs to be transparency. Forgive me if these are things that already exist behind the paywall, but if that’s the case I’m not seeing it. 1. I wish there was a way to add collections and tags for records that are in your wishlist. I have many records that I’d like to purchase eventually, but some are more important than others. I’m sure most people can relate to that. I would love to be able to tag records in my wishlist as “most wanted” or “high priority” for easy viewing of records that I really want to keep an eye on in the Discogs marketplace. Currently, when I long press on an album in my wishlist I DO see an option to tag, but when I click on the tag button, the app force closes itself. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or what??2. Also, I’d like to be able to upload proper album art for my wishlist as well. Sorry, but the Discogs community is absolutely useless when it comes to uploading quality and cohesive album art, which it’s something that, for me, makes browsing discogs web/app super agitating. I think these two simple features would turn this app into a 5 star app in my book, and improve the user experience tenfold. Very grateful for this one either way. I love having an organized, digital home base for my vinyl.
Added a button to force a refresh of releases, masters, artists, and labels.
Enhanced Scrobble screen.
Wantlist releases grouping when they shared the same master ID.
Various minor bug fixes.
