We had mini split system installed in September 2020, and were able to easily set up the app. It was always slow in response time time (we weren’t as bothered as other about celsius only in app), but since last autumn, we haven’t been able to get it to open, or update. Now some nonsense about a language pack downloading glazes for one second, before crashing. App Store confirms no update available.

This app is terrible. Manufacturer’s instructions said to use this app to control my new mini-split. I was able to connect to the unit initially, but the functionality has been awful from the start. The unit will not follow what is programmed into the app including what temperature it’s set to and what mode it’s set to. I was able to look past this because I like to sleep cold, but as of last week, I am not longer able to connect to the unit at all. I have uninstalled the app multiple times, tried multiple different WiFi signals (2.5 and 5G) and the app just stays on the loading screen when trying to pair. My dad has the same unit I do, just purchased it about a year ago and his connects to completely different app that functions amazingly well. This app is absolutely useless and incredibly frustrating to have to deal with.

If I couls give it a ZERO, I would... each and every update it gets worse! First it was the never ending terms and condition that I have to accept every time I use the app, but then connection between the app and the air conditioning equipment started failing and I had to delete and add again every equipment installed... if that was not enough, another update came and I thought it would repair everything, but guess what, it didn’t! They added now for us to select a server between “European” and “other area” that has to be done every time to access the software. And with this last update, they went for the whole enchilada, now if you want to add the air conditionar again, you need to select the wifi, eventough, you already did... and if you change it, it will not detect the wifi and you are never able to add the equipment again!...Perfec crap...

Overall this app works fine but does look a bit old fashioned. I had some troubles in the beginning connecting but did finally get both zones working. Turns out these WiFi dongles will not connect to a guest network. They need full access to your home network. One minor complaint it seems only one device can be signed in at any given time. Signing in on my iPad signs me out on my iPhone & vice versa. Update: This app crashes so much that it’s almost useless.
