I prefer accessing the app both email or a phone number. Because there would be possible problems that person will experience (ex. losing/damaged their phone) and can’t use their phone number. They will resort on opening their paymaya app with a new phone but since they currently can’t since its only allowing a specific phone number. I do know that this app is centered for smartphones which is having a faster access through information about your own budget and more but I do not feel that have other ways to “access” it since it is limited ONLY by an app and/or a smartphone. I hope it can expand not just by an app (probably an multiplatform online) and it would be helpful if a phone might be lost and all the savings of a person can be transferred somewhere else using different devices (either new account or to be saved temporary to a friend’s) to avoid further problems especially if that paymaya user does not have a physical card

Let me start by saying I’ve been working in cybersecurity for 4 years, and I can confidently say: Maya’s app and security logic are a complete mess. Last week, I tried verifying my email address — simple enough, right? Except, no verification email ever came. I checked everything: inbox, spam, trash, tried multiple email addresses. Still nothing. So I figured maybe reinstalling the app would help. Big mistake. After reinstalling, I tried logging in and got hit with a "face authentication failed" error. The most ridiculous part? It didn’t even attempt to scan my face. No camera popup, no prompt — just an immediate failure. What kind of security system does that? This isn’t “secure login” — this is just broken logic that locks out legitimate users for no valid reason. A simple reinstall shouldn’t brick your access to your own account. Where is the fallback? Now I’m completely locked out of my account — not because I did anything wrong, but because Maya’s broken logic thinks reinstalling means I’m suspicious? I contacted customer support immediately, and for three days straight, they told me, “it’ll be fixed within the day.”Guess: it wasn’t. Followed up that night. Nothing. Tried again the next day. Same line: "within the day." Guess what? Still nothing. It’s not just frustrating — it’s unacceptable. As someone in cybersecurity, I can tell you: this isn’t robust security. It’s just poor system design. Fix your login logic. Patch the loopholes. And stop locking out legit users for no good reason. If your app breaks just because someone reinstalls it, that’s not secure — that’s just broken. Maya, your tech is unreliable, your support is useless, and your systems are flawed. This has been a complete waste of my time and energy. Do better.

Downloaded this app kasi gcash keeps on crashing (gCrash.) I was able to set up an account and even upgraded smoothly. Now i can use my bank overseas to transact locally through my iPhone with out pulling out my credit cards. Parang PayPal siya. Hopefully more stores have paymaya payment options because it’s about time the Philippines goes paperless . Hopefully more services too accepts paymaya payments parang ba sa Japan, nag babayad sila duon gamit cellphone . Cheers to the app developers .

I try to reset my password coz they said i had reached the maximum number of passwords. Which i only have face lock. And not password. So i try to reset my password. And do the instructions that maya wants me to do to reset my password. Like they will send into my email the instructions on how to reset my password and i know i put my right email. But when i checked my email. I didn’t receive any one email from maya that will give instructions that they’re saying. So how i can reset my password if you don’t give me the e-mail. I checked all my inbox even my spam and trash messages, hoping that maybe i can saw it there. But still nothing. And i also called the landline of maya services but they also didn’t help my problem. Just only saying to wait and re install the app. Which i did how many times but still. Nothing works. I hope you can help me with problem.
