I find discovery to be clunky and inefficient in the app. Searches and parameters are not saved, and you never get spontaneous inputs or updates that something new and exciting related to your preferences is available. In fact, I don’t get the sense any preference is saved.There’s no ability to have more efficiency in the flow I used every day which is checking in at my favorites. Every time I go to a service provider I still have to pick what I’m doing. I do functional fitness at Crunch fit wedding every couple days and that flow remains super painful … validate my location is nearby and just let me do this in one click.Saving things that aren’t courses is also a mess.Finally, in what is clearly a deliberate design decision, you can’t freeze/pause membership in the app. Why not? Feels just cheap. Again, I am forced to consider why and it doesn’t feel like the app is thinking about me as a long term relationship but rather a user to trick for one more month accidental membership.I value the service offering though, and I think all these things are correctable and possibly unintentional, so I’ll review and update this if I see improvement on all 3 issues.

I used to have a gym subscription before this. And call it monotony, but it took a lot for me to be excited about being regular. Urban sports changed that for me. For the past 2 months, I’ve tried out many forms that would’ve been out of reach for me. I explored how Yoga was something I loved, cold baths that changed how I felt after a shower, and so much more.Also the late fee, although stinks - is such a great tool to keep you from cancelling. There’s always a few things the app can do better on, but I love the product and the experience. Can’t recommend it enough!

The only reason why I use this app, is because I actually genuinely like Urban Sports. But the design and usability of the app is an absolute disgrace for a modern “start up”. You should rebuild everything from the ground up - if you can’t do it yourself find a good agency, invest some money, and fix this. There is so much potential but this is shameful how un-usable the app is. If you don’t fix this soon I might cancel my subscription.

The app is absolutely terrible but perhaps it is made by a small team without UX designers. Or perhaps nobody that works at this company has ever tried to use the app. For example if you want to find a venue on the map it won’t show up if you search by name unless you adjust the zoom which is an insane UX decision that makes zero sense. Why would a user want to zoom around on this aweful map with tiny markers to try to find venues? If I type the name it should just come up - this is incredibly basic UX that whoever designed or product manages this app seems to not understand at all. Even worse is that if you do set the correct zoom then it still doesn’t automatically show up unless you click on a tiny map marker!Just incomprehensible how a company could make a UI that is so unbelievably poorly designed. Any 13 year old kid or AI agent could design something better in under a day.
