I was trying to find out how I could dispose of rotted lumber. I learned that various wood can be disposed in different ways but that rotted wood would have to be picked up by a commercial trash hauler and I would have to pay for it. Not an answer I liked, but an answer to my question! It was pretty easy to access from the drop-down menus on this app.

I found this app to be useful and full of information. I would rate it five stars but I had a bulk pickup needed. I tried to use the app and it would not accept the request once I finished inputting all info. I did it two more times, then finally called. Despite having the item listed on the app as something that could be scheduled there, it turns out you still need to call the City. It wasn’t really a problem - the call was not terribly long - but it should have been noted in the app. I think this could easily be integrated to the BOS:311 app.

Just opened the App to see if collection is delayed a day. An alert told me my version is obsolete and to please download the update. I deleted the App, searched for Boston Trash Schedule at the App Store and downloaded it. I wonder why it wasn’t one of the regular app updates. Anyway, the latest I could download seems to be the same version as the one I just removed from my iPhone, and I’m getting the same exact alert about it being obsolete and to please download the latest version. What gives?
