Close but needs work

Notion mail on desktop is a great inbox, the mobile version is lacking. Can’t add categories or sort on the mobile version (unless I missed something) and I really wish I could have all my Gmail inboxes under one roof and have them neatly organized. I have two notion accounts for different companies I work for, and I’d love to have a more seamless connection for my inboxes. Excited that this app is out but likely won’t use it until they make some big updates!

Lots of Potential 🫡

I don’t think people realize what’s happening here… Notion Mail is that app. It’s early, it’s raw, but the vision is massive. The idea that my email can finally live in the same universe as my tasks, notes, and projects — all inside Notion — is game-changing.

It’s not perfect yet, but honestly that’s the fun part. You can feel where this is going. If they keep pushing, this could end up being one of those apps we look back on in a year and say, “wow, I was there when it first launched.”

As someone who runs everything in Notion, I can say this: the potential here is off the charts. Don’t sleep on it. 🚀

Still Very Buggy

I love that Notion Mail has finally arrived for iOS but this was not ready to leave beta testing in my opinion. I have at least one issue every single day that I use the app, whether it’s new emails refusing to load, emails displaying blank pages, or the view function not displaying emails with a certain label. I’m constantly having to restart the app or wait a few minutes and then come back. I’d like to be able to delete the Gmail app on my phone but I can’t rely on this app to reliably deliver my emails.
