I wanted a super basic run/walk timer that would just keep running until I told it to stop, and so many other apps wanted to know how many repeats I wanted. How am I supposed to know how many intervals I’ll have in a 5 mile run?! The only thing I don’t like about this app is the tones. I’d like the option of something more like a single basic beep. I definitely don’t like the speech alerts, so I’ll use the tones, but I find them annoying.Update after 3 months of use: I’ve actually grown to like the tones, and that makes this app completely perfect for me.

I am beginner runner. To be honest, i kinda hated it. Running is not my exercise of choice but i want to improve my cardio strength. This app has made it so much easier! Rather than running for as long as i can, getting terribly out of breathe, and walking the rest of the mile, i am able to keep my heart rate up the whole time, push myself a little, and actually enjoy the experience. the app is easy to use and customize to whatever intervals you want. I recommend this for anyone, especially people who are new to running.

I looked at other timers but it seemed to get a basic repeating timer, I had to pay in advance. And even then the whole repeating part seemed lacking or way too complex for the basic functionality. RunIntervals is simple and customizable. It does what it promises, which is exactly all I wanted. Unlike the other apps that try to collect money upfront, I had no problem tipping the developer for this app. Thanks for helping my run training!

This is a very easy and straightforward app. However, using it for any marathon or long training run, it can screw up a runner because it will randomly stop and shut off. Then if you restart it, it will automatically tell you to start running . 😑Like my Addidas and Coros run app, it wouldbe great if it would pause automatically if and when you have stop (e.g if waiting for the walk signal, or if you need to use the portajon during a race. Please make these adjustments to the app. I like the different voices that you can choose from through.
