Signing up for the Sage app is almost impossible. Many quirks and odd screen behavior that sometimes makes it difficult to get to the next page of the signup process. The signup process demands an ID photo but won’t allow you to upload an existing one. And it is extremely finicky about selfies, demanding a dark background and zero highlights or anything that obscures “details,” whatever that means.i I’ve tried a dozen setups with different backgrounds and lighting, It hasn’t accepted any of them.This app is definitely not ready for prime time!

Worst security company and app

Ramco installed new security arms, brought in guards and forced the community to use their horrible app. Our community has been using this process for 5 months.The app does not allow you to add vendors to your guest list; you have to add first and last name. So if your vendor has multiple employees, you are forced to add each person or the guard will not allow them inside the community. I have also had instances where the person was on my list and the guard still turned them away.Ramco guards are not friendly. Some of them are even rude. The gate arms do not work properly. They are set to close too soon as to try to prevent tailgaters, but we have had several instances of the arms being damaged.Using this company for security has been a huge fail for our community. Look elsewhere.

Let's separate platform functionality from service operations. The vendor management feature you mentioned was enhanced in our 3.1.0 release and is now available on both web and mobile. SAGE is a digital identity platform offering multiple access methods - no one is forced to use the app. Now, regarding guard behavior and gate arm timing: those are separate service operations managed by different teams within Ramco, not SAGE platform issues. If you're experiencing problems with guard conduct or gate hardware performance, those need to be escalated through your property manager to our operations team, not reviewed as app issues. If you have legitimate SAGE platform functionality concerns, contact support@sagesystems.io. Communities nationwide trust our services because we deliver - when issues arise, we address them through the proper channels.

As a community manager who has managed several gated communities. The Sage APP is a great option. It’s is versatile and can be used among several associations at once. at this time I have two associations in the same area using this app with no complaints. The Sage APP allows for the owners to be in control of their guest entries at all times. The APP is user-friendly.

Horrible Gate System

I wish I could give this system zero stars. It really is that bad. The app constantly freezes when you try to grant access. Rarely will it work. I have missed so many deliveries thanks to sage and their horrible system. We are living in 2025. Our old system was a million times better and made over 15 years ago. Sage needs to get there you know what together. Avoid this system and app at all costs!

Constant freezing that "rarely works" doesn't reflect platform-wide performance and typically indicates property configuration, network issues, or user device problems. SAGE provides multiple access methods to specifically prevent missed deliveries. We've shipped numerous updates since February. If you're still experiencing issues, we encourage you to contact our support team at support@sagesystems.io with your property name and account details so we can identify if anything is misconfigured on your end.
