ShellLog is a collection log built for people who already know what they found — on the beach, at a shell show, an estate sale, or a club swap. Track species, condition, storage location, and the story behind every shell you own.
【What You Can Do】
▷ Shell Ledger
Log species, family/genus, condition grade (Gem, Extra Fine, Fine, Good, Beach Worn, or Dead Collected), photos, and a short episode memo for each shell. Every entry gets an auto-numbered catalog number — SL-0001, SL-0002, and so on. Free up to 15 shells.
▷ Collected, Purchased, or Traded
Record how you got each shell: the beach and date you collected it, the shop or show you bought it from (with price and currency), or a trade.
▷ Log a Whole Beach Haul
After saving one shell, keep going. "Log Another" carries over the beach and date (or the shop and price), so you can log an entire haul in one sitting — then review a trip summary when you're done.
▷ Tide & Weather Notes
Jot down the conditions when you found something — spring tide, after a storm, low tide, after rain — with one-tap presets or your own notes.
▷ GPS Location
Record exactly where you found a shell using your device's location, and open it in Apple Maps or Google Maps anytime. Entirely optional.
