Description

Did you lose track of your time again? We can help. With a single tap, track and save your time with Toggl Track — anywhere you go.

Or maybe you don't really want to use the pesky phone keyboard — we get it. That's why you can now use Siri to track your time with Toggl Track, no keyboard needed. This feature requires iOS 12.

Toggl Track also has you covered across all of your devices. Start tracking your hours in a browser, then stop it later on your phone or on your Apple Watch with our brand new watchOS app. All your tracked time is safely synced between your iPhone, Watch, desktop, and browser (if you want more of a Pomodoro timer experience).

FEATURES:
• Reports
Discover what's taking up your time and get a snapshot of your day or week with Reports. Analyze your Reports in the app or export them to send the data to your clients (or analyze them further on our web app to see where your hours are going).

• Sync
Keeps your time seamlessly synced, safely saved, and ready to track on your account, on any device.

• Calendar
Connect your calendar app to Toggl Track to see all of your calendar events and time entries in the app itself (in the same view), receive notifications before the events start, and most importantly, instantly create time entries based on your calendar events!

• Customize your time entries with projects, clients, and tags
Organize and add more details to your time entries by adding meta data on projects, clients, and tags. See exactly where your work hours are going and adjust your schedule and routines accordingly.

• Siri
Toggl Track is compatible with Siri! Start a new time entry, stop it, or access your reports — all that with just a few words.

• iOS Widgets
Start (and stop) tracking from your iPhone Home Screen.

• Apple Sign-in
You can now also sign into our Toggl Track app via your Apple ID.

• Suggestions
The more you track, the better the data. The app will give you suggested time entries based on your tracking habits and previous time entries.

• Shortcuts
Use @ and # to quickly add projects and tags to your time entry and get back to work right away!

• Auto-complete
Easily find your older time entries and start tracking time on them again.

• Manual Mode
Want more control? Add and edit all of your time manually and make sure that every second of your time is accounted for. This feature is optional and it's accessible from the Settings menu.

- But what if I'm offline?
No problem! You can still track your time through the app, and once you're back online, it will sync seamlessly with your account (and the rest of your devices). Your time is not going anywhere.

Yes, Toggl Track on iOS is completely free for you to use.

The only time tracker that’s worked for me!

So glad I found this app! I have NEVER been someone who enjoyed the idea of tracking their time, probably because nothing else ever stuck before, but when it become more necessary and I had to find a way, Toggl has been the first system I’ve stuck with now for months! The two stand out things for me are it’s simplistic straight to the point functionality (there isn’t all this fancy fluff to be a distraction, though it still looks nice), and the very helpful idle time reminder that means you don’t have to remember to clock in and out meticulously, if you get up from your work and forget to time out, it will separate that time and ask you when you come back if it should count that time or not! That has been a game changer for me! Also it has a helpful nudge to remind you to track your time if you happen to forget to start tracking. Being able to sync seamlessly across the work on my devices and on my computer is fantastic and the again simple interface that lets me categorize my work in an easy to see manner has been great! Thanks for making this app!

Simple Productivity Tracker

The free version provides great multi-platform use for someone like me who doesn’t own a freelancing business and, as such, doesn’t need the capability to export billing documents or whatever to receive pay. I just use it to track how much time I spend studying, completing homework, and writing reports for each of my classes so that I have an overview and graph of what subjects I focus the most on. Seeing the numbers of hours worked on each subject helps motivate me to continue to keep my bar graphs high, and the timer function is much easier than imputing your own time into something like Google Sheets if you want to see graphs of your productivity.

The ease of use is superb and simplicity of the app’s aesthetics is pleasing to the eye as well. It doesn’t look cheesy and that’s another big plus. There are also browser extensions and desktop applications for people who want to track their time offline. And the app itself also helps you track your workflow without a connection, then syncs when you’re connected to the internet. A+ job!

Love the app. Needs a restructure

I love Toggl, and will keep using it because it has everything I need. I write this review as a suggestion to the developers. I truly think the app needs a complete overhaul. They need to make it easier, its a bit finicky. Its easy to accidentally do many things you dont intend to do, and then not notice. Using the Timery app as an example, that app runs way better than the Toggl app. Toggl on browser runs way better than the Toggle app too. The app needs some quality of life updates, mirror the website if need be.

Make a menu to create, edit, add, remove projects and tags like on the website. Make it easier to notice when you accidentally start/end a timer. Make it easier to adjust how much time you've been working on a timer, if you forgot to start it.

As I said, Toggl is great, I just wish that they would make the app a bit better. I see myself using toggl on browser way more now that I found out about it, ive always used the app before this.
