Trueshort is such a clever idea - perfect for when I want a quick true crime fix without committing to a full documentary. The storytelling is sharp, engaging, and super addictive. Love how easy it is to watch anywhere, anytime. Highly recommend for any true crime fan!

The videos I saw recommending this app claimed you could watch episodes, but that’s not really the case. There are quite a few episodes but only about 10 are actually watchable — the rest are audio only. Even after paying for a subscription, you can only use it on the same device you subscribed with. When I tried to access my paid subscription on my iPad instead of my phone, it asked me to pay again! I reached out to customer support and never received a response. The episodes you can watch are good, but there just isn’t enough video content to make it worth it. Overall, very disappointed.

This isn’t a very good app or business model. As I played one story, the episodes started over playing each other. Had to exit and restart, issue is persistent. Unable to sign in with same account on iPad as it is making me sign up with a new account. This should be one account on all platforms. Probably the most idiotic, I saved about 10 stories. Not one saved in my account! It shows my queue to be empty. Used this for less than an hour, and I’ve just cancelled my subscription.

This new true crime app is a must have for any fan of the genre. The stories are gripping and well researched. Super user-friendly too. Can’t stop listening – highly recommend!
