This update is about bike security. - We've revamped Bike Alarm settings for all VanMoof bikes and all riders (owners and guests). - For S6 riders, you can change alarm sensitivity. - On the S6, after 3 failed unlock code attempts the code is temporarily disabled for 30s. We notify you when the code is disabled and enabled again. - We also handled a validation code error for Ride Pro. Happy riding!

We’re bringing more control to your fingertips with Home widgets that support various iOS themes. We’ve also enhanced security: S6 Touch Unlock range is now reduced for extra safety, and we indicate clearly that Apple Find My is disabled while your bike is in tracking mode. Plus, we've fixed several UI issues (including on iOS 26) and smoothed out gear customization for guest riders on S5/A5 and S3/X3. Happy riding!

Happy summer to everyone in the northern hemisphere! In this version of the app we’ve added some new things: - We’ve added some more app icons that match the color of our new S6 bikes. They’re also perfect to give your home screen a fresh summer look! - Range prediction now works on older models too. - You’ll receive notifications if the Apple Find My status of your bike changes, for example when it is temporarily paused. In addition to adding new things, we also solved some problems: - We’ve fixed a problem when trying to install firmware updates for the S3 and X3 and older bikes. - General performance improvements and stability fixes are added.

We've refreshed our look with a new logo and app icons. The Augmented Reality test ride now features the S6 series in Electric Blue.

Wondering how far your VanMoof can get you? Now you can see your expected range for your battery level, which is based on years of real world data. Don’t fret if you prefer to see a percentage, you can always switch between the two.

- Welcome all new riders from all new places! We’ve doubled the cities you can select for City Ride tracking, including Helmond. - It’s now easier to change your profile and subscription details in the app. - The ‘Bike’ or ‘Garage’ tab is now called ‘Settings’, so now you know what you’ll find in there. - On iOS 18 you can add the unlock action to your control center or home screen, for that lightning speed unlock! - Bug fixes for ride tracking, bluetooth connection, setting unlock code, accounts with lots of bikes and theft tracking.

Bonjour, France! You can now eat a baguette while riding a bike, as we’ve translated the app to French. Other improvements: - Unlocked notification: You’ll get a reminder when you forgot to lock your bike. Ride Pro with S3, X3 and earlier models only. - Rides settings: Can now be found in the garage. You can now set up the health integration from here. - Ride Pro enhancements: Lots of little improvements to Ride Pro across the board. - Bug fixes: Special shout-out to the ‘pair remote’ feature that now works again for the 2017 Electrified models. - iOS 16 is now required. We heard you like to tweak the ‘Auto’ light setting of your S3 and X3, so that’s why we added the ability to tweak the light sensor back to the new Garage.

Sometimes you just need to clean up your garage, as it gets full with old stuff. We didn’t only do a clean-up, we also modernised everything! All of your bike settings are now faster to reach, easier to find and the whole package is good on the eyes too. All 7 generations of VanMoof bikes are still supported, because we love to see you riding around on early smart bikes. In this small update we turned off bike sharing for older bike models, as we accidentally enabled it. There’s also a small bug fix for bike registration.

If you tried to enable repair mode using a link instead of a QR code, it didn't always work. We've solved that now.

Small update this time. On some occasions you had to end repair mode multiple times. Not anymore.

- For increased safety, you now need to enable ‘Repair Mode’ on your bike when you’re dropping off your bike at a partner shop. Get started by scanning the QR code in the partner shop. - Setting up Apple Find My is improved. You should now be able to correctly connect with Find My if you follow the steps in the app. - Due to a bug, sometimes you could get a notification that a bike update was available for the VanMoof S5 and A5, even though your bike was up to date. That’s fixed now. - The notification to remind you about touch unlock when closing the app will now show up less often.

- For increased safety, you soon need to enable ‘Repair Mode’ on your bike when you’re dropping off your bike at a partner shop. - Fixed some bugs; links to help articles are updated, and the app now shows a 12-hour clock if you want to.

In this update we’re adding some new features and revamping others: - New ‘Battery’ section where you can find more details about the state of the battery or Powerbank. Tap on the battery widget or find it via the settings page. - Introducing battery notifications. The app can now notify you when your battery is running low, when the bike is fully charged or when the battery hits your pre-defined level. Making it easier for you to be fully charged! - Setting your unlock code just got easier, with a step-wise approach and better instructions. - If you force close the app, we’ll notify you touch unlock is not available anymore. - We’re building up a new help center, until that’s ready we’ve disabled the current help page.

We're happy to continue riding with you, let's go! In this release we're putting some things in order. - We removed features that can't be used anymore, like the support chat. - We heard you like the ‘ping’ bell sound, so now you can also select this bell on the S3 & X3. Happy pinging! - If you have multiple bikes and want to transfer ownership, the selected bike will now be transferred (instead of the one currently active). - Support for iOS 17. - For good measure we added some more fun bits. Let's see whether you can find them.

For all of the S5 & A5 riders we have some great updates: - If your e-shifter is acting up, you can now calibrate your e-shifter with the app. This will solve most issues with the e-shifter, so no need to bring your bike in for repair. Find it in the gear info screen. - New settings were added for the latest firmware update, 1.4. You can now toggle the deceleration lights, turning indicators and select the speed halo animation. For everyone else we’ve added some nice iOS features: - Homescreen widgets. View the battery status or your last rides on your homescreen. - Shortcuts support. This is a cool one; you can now automate almost all of your bike’s settings using the ‘Shortcuts’ app. This opens up a lot new possibilities to unlock and use your bike! This also means bike settings can be changed using Siri. We’re curious to see what you build! - Updated WatchOS design. Thanks for the ride so far! We frequently have updates for your S5 & A5, so that’s why we wanted to make updating the bike easier for you. Starting with this release the app will automatically transfer the update to your bike whenever you’re nearby, and we’ll notify you when the update is ready to be installed. This means you can focus on other stuff while we’re doing updates in the background. If you’re looking to spice up your homescreen you can now choose one of our colorful app icons!
