Useless

Received a text this morning about downloading the app to gain more information on what time it would be delivered and the ability to agree to leaving the package. Turns out neither of these options are available. You get the exact same page of information as you do by clicking the link they sent you. Trying to paste the shipping number into the bar was also a pain. Hopefully they fix their app because at the moment it is redundant.

Waste of time

Complete waste of time getting the app. Not easy to use and offers no useful information. The website has the same Tracking ability which offers No Extra Delivery info from what you probably got in a text/email. It still only says the date, no approximate ’time’, which was the entire reason they tell you to get the ‘barely working’ app.
Can’t enter the Consignment number into the field easily. Pot luck got me that far after tapping the phone 100 times.
This might as well be a first attempt at writing an app for a 10 year old. No thought has gone into whether this app actually works or is convenient in any way and it is not linked to any details on your package that you didn’t already have.

But why?

I received a text telling me to download this app to track a delivery which was due… and honestly, why?
The interface is extremely clunky, and if you attempt to paste the tracking number into the tracking box, the selection zone is only near where the text point is… Clicking anywhere else in the text box clicks away.

Then the tracking information is rudimentary at best, and honestly… what’s the point in an app for this purpose?
Unless you’re using Allied for loads of deliveries, why do I need to download an app, and if I did, it’s so clunky and barely usable, I’d probably use someone else to avoid it.
