CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor 4+

We have excellent wifi connection but I find there is still a long (15-30sec) waiting time waiting for the app to open/load. That may seem to short to some, but when you’re frequently in the app day and night, it can be tiresome.
I’ve also noticed recent bug. When I’ve exited the app, the monitor sound can still be heard through my phone and there’s no way of stopping it because I’ve already exited the app. Very strange and wary of security issues around this.
The up side is that the sound and visibility is clear. The updates on when baby coughs, rolls or covering face is helpful. The breathing monitor is great too. So I’m pleased with the key function of the monitor.

We upgraded to the cubo primarily for the playback feature and night time reports as we were curious about when our little one was waking and if he was waking overnight and not calling out to us.

The playback feature is great! However it would be helpful if there was a thumbnail scroll at the bottom not unlike what you would see if you were scrolling through a video on your phone.

Unfortunately the nighttime report is quite inaccurate. Our report almost always says our son is asleep immediately even though it can take him up to 45min to fall asleep. I should mention that he doesn’t talk or cry, but does roll around. Not a huge deal, but an observation I’ve made.

As mentioned by other users, the cost of subscribing to access features of the camera could perhaps be revised. I understand that accessing premium features may come with a price, but basic features really could be accessible at no additional cost (considering the cost of the camera itself).

It would be really helpful if in the new split screen feature, that the temperatures of each room were able to be displayed so that users don’t have to go in and out of the split screen and flick through each of the rooms to check. It seems minor, but to be able to monitor multiple room temps at a glance over night would be very convenient and I’m sure much appreciated by users.

Overall, I am very happy with the product (otherwise I wouldn’t have gone back for a second 😊).

Sold as a premium product but has regular connectivity issues, latest update seems to have broken the sharing and app asks all users to sign in, the sign in process on the phone is shockingly bad, the main problem is if your reading this review you’ve probably already bought the device…. Underwhelmed for the what is essential lying a wifi enabled camera with a buggy app
