its ridiculous to spend a couple of hundred dollars on this baby monitor, and yes you get a subscription for only a year, but once ended, basic options like covered face and roll over alerts are not included, its a joke when you spend so much, being limited as it is because you cannot use it without internet for a start. Charging extra for things that should be included is ridiculous. Not to mention how much the app lags, sometimes doesnt load at all! Its not quick and easy to just get into the app and watch your baby, you could be waiting ages sometimes, all to then just freeze and not work. Connecting the device to the internet is another muck around altogether! It took an hour of going back and forth for it to connect. If you turn the device off, and when it automatically reconnects to the internet, that can take SOO long as well! The quality is great and it has potential but its lacking in so many things and way too expensive for what it really “offers.”

We upgraded to the cubo primarily for the playback feature and night time reports as we were curious about when our little one was waking and if he was waking overnight and not calling out to us.

The playback feature is great! However it would be helpful if there was a thumbnail scroll at the bottom not unlike what you would see if you were scrolling through a video on your phone.

Unfortunately the nighttime report is quite inaccurate. Our report almost always says our son is asleep immediately even though it can take him up to 45min to fall asleep. I should mention that he doesn’t talk or cry, but does roll around. Not a huge deal, but an observation I’ve made.

As mentioned by other users, the cost of subscribing to access features of the camera could perhaps be revised. I understand that accessing premium features may come with a price, but basic features really could be accessible at no additional cost (considering the cost of the camera itself).

It would be really helpful if in the new split screen feature, that the temperatures of each room were able to be displayed so that users don’t have to go in and out of the split screen and flick through each of the rooms to check. It seems minor, but to be able to monitor multiple room temps at a glance over night would be very convenient and I’m sure much appreciated by users.

Overall, I am very happy with the product (otherwise I wouldn’t have gone back for a second 😊).

We have had Cubo for 2 years, with our first child it was great. Very comforting to know her movements with the sensor pad, although at times was telling us she wasn’t breathing when she was. The app was good otherwise, the photos are great and generally had no issues.

Once we had our second child the app cannot handle double screen function well. The app constantly lags, kicks you out of the app if you Lock Screen your screen and leave the Cubo on the double screen function. Which means you don’t realise but the app has closed so you can’t hear your baby cry. App has kicked us out or closed randomly and our baby was crying, couldn’t hear her. Freezes a lot and now I get crackling sounds through the playback.

Lots of lags and bugs that need to be fine tuned and would expect an app and product that is quite high shelf to be a little more smooth running for the price you pay.
