Subtle “push” into Apple Pay
I was quite excited to try Citro out. But “am I missing something.?”
I’ve given them my bank account details & now I seem to be stuck in their “wanting /insisting on me to use Apple Pay!!
I’m trying to cut down, Apps, reduce time on my smart phone, reduce no of bank accounts. Declutter my life. Embrace simplicity, again!
Rather than the financial & big tech Cos running my life…so why can’t I simply…
1. Store the Citro Card in my Apple Wallet✅
2.Say NO to Apple Pay????

Lack of financial data safety
I couldn’t connect any of the supported bank accounts that I have. Support wanted to confirm my identity by providing sensitive information over a third party chat account. They were helpful to close my account without having tried a more secure means to confirm my credentials. Really disappointed with the service and the support provided. Would not recommend using the app with such disregard for your personal banking information.

Just another app designed to make you spend your money and promising rewards - look out for the fine print. I spent over $300 at a wine site and no cash-back was forthcoming. Wasted hours chatting to bots and emailing the company.
Lost my patience and have deleted the app. What a waste of time, effort and money.
