We have a thriving community of teachers, students, and parents across Western Australian public schools who use Connect for communication, learning, and collaboration. Connect Now enhances communication amongst users by providing access to all features of Connect through the app and alerts teachers, students, and parents of what is happening in Connect through push notifications.
Through Connect Now you can:

For parents - worthwhile
As a DoE employee it isn't that useful for all the reasons other people have described.
But as our parent community have universally NOT embraced the browser-based Connect, this is much more user-friendly. All we want for them is that they actually read school communication instead of drifting around in ignorance and pestering the office repeatedly for information that is clearly in the newsletter.
And the app delivers that.
When it works.
New APP version
The new app is a nice improvement on the last version. I like the full functionality of Connect in the app, the way it stays logged in for longer and the new buttons. Gcongrats to the Connect team
New version even worse than the last
Dept of Ed, where was your end user testing and user experience testing? The latest version of the app is just so confusing, I actually got lost in the app!
