Great App, user friendly and easy to use

My husband and I have been with Defence Bank (since Defcredit days) for many years and have never looked back at all to any other Bank. So glad that they embarked with this App. I have this App on my iPad and my smart phone and every time I go to use it to either pay someone or do internal transfers either in country or overseas have had no problems in doing so. The App is very easy to use and very convenient. Thank you Defence Bank for investing in this brilliant App.

Good for now

All in all, the app is great. The latest update however has buttons that are not visible in the lower portion of the keypad but when you push where they would be (even though you can’t see them) they still work.

Also, after checking an account balance or transferring money, there is no back button. It’s Home or the Menu. There use to be a simple back button in the top left.

Lastly I have no idea how to turn off notification a specific notification. Everytime I transfer money from one of my internal accounts to another I get an email. I only need an email for the transfers that’s occur when I send money outside of my account.

Poor configuration for regular large payments

Configuration is not easy to use for large payments which requires the splitting of transactions (which can lead to fees) . In addition if you try and split a transaction over multiple days to not breach the daily limit, the payment will still fail if on the day you are completing the transaction request (not the day of payment) is over the limit (whether the payments are made that day or not). This therefore requires logins over multiple days splitting transactions to achieve payments. Downloading a secondary app to circumvent this is extremely poor design and frustrating. I now am reconsidering my decision to return to Defence Bank for normal banking due to this application, as I am use to far more efficient and friendly banking support applications.
