Genuinely the worst app I have ever used. It looks like an app from an iPhone 4 except somehow it is more glitchy and problematic than apps from phones during that time. Seeing as it’s extremely important to check your finances you would think they would upgrade the app. On the new update I can’t even check my payments and if I want to check previous payments from my last pay check I am unable to do that as well. There is not even a search option for payments. Appalling customer service taking absolutely no feedback from their numerous complaints about this app.

The app itself is so clumsy to use. The login page to enter the 4 digit pin doesn’t show when a digit has been tapped and I frequently have to close and re-open the app just to get it to respond. It makes what should be the simple act of logging in to see your balance, a lengthier than required process. You can’t see past a certain (limited) number of transactions in the app once you have managed to login either - have to go to the website for that. It’s very clunky and I have really disliked having to use this app since Smart Salary moved away from Westpac. The team really needs to address the apps user interface and modernise it.

This app is useless. For most claims it freezes on every screen, requires you to go backwards to the previous screen in order to lower the keyboard so you can progress forwards, and then tells you it can’t connect to the internet (when there’s DEFINITELY no issue with wifi phone service) which means you can’t actually lodge your claim. I’ve complained about the app before, lodging direct complaints to Smart Salary, and have never received a satisfactory response. After several years of complaining, it is still completely useless.

This app is absolutely useless, login is a nightmare, glitches frequently, always something not working properly, anytime a so called fix happens something else breaks!! Currently unable to login as it keeps looping back to repeat every time and get nowhere! Get rid of it Smart Salary and start again with an app that actually works and is beneficial to your salary packaging client employees!!! About time your developers actually looked at the years long negative reviews and issues is all I can say, ridiculous in 2025 that this app even exists as it does!
