Could be better

Easy claiming process, but that’s it. I used to be with NIB, and it showed a running total of all my extra limits. Very informative. This app is not!!! In this day and age, it should be better.

App Limitations Make it Non-user Friendly

Members need more from Defence Health than a simple means to make a claim.

This App fails to provide members ability to check on their access levels to various services. Practitioners regularly provide members with 'service codes' and advise you to look it up on your App to ascertain your eligibility(plan coverage) and amount of rebate coverage. Really useful information for Defence Health members when they're trying to book a time with a service provider.

Given other Health App advances, Defence Health should investigate why theirs is so limited in comparison and 'fill the gap' to improve their App. Members deserve better.

Not Good

I used it 3 times on the same claim and it just didn’t send the information. Each time I received the circle thing that you get when it’s trying to access the internet. The first 2 times for 15 minutes then the last time 30 minutes. I even rang Defence Health and the person I spoke to did not have the answers either. Except to say he’s heard that the app has performed this way before.
