Very Easy, Add your own Recipes with protein, fibre and sodium

Much better than calorie tracking apps I’ve used before. You can use your stored list of recently eaten items, sorted by breakfast, lunchtime etc, and can add that food again to dinner or another meal with a different amount. Can input by standard serving, by weight, by ‘large apple’ peeled or unpeeled, as 3/4 of a serve. Really flexible. Has lots of the brands you fond in Coles or Woolies listed with fibre etc. Your own recipes are easily added and it works out fibre etc. If you eat an unusual brand, say of muesli, you just input it one to the ‘my foods’ section, using the nutritional info on the pack, and then it’s stored ready to use.
Tracks exercise and weight. Tells you how many calories are in each thing you’ve eaten at each past meal, so you can see where your calorie ‘budget’ is going. Keeps track of how many you have left to eat based on the target intake you set. Also total fibre etc for the day.
Really happy this takes the calculating and looking up pain out of calorie counting. Now I just need to stick with it. Keeping those fibre numbers high should help.

Very worthwhile App

You can log the food you eat in grams which is a fantastic option as you can log the exact amount that you have eaten. You can even log milk you add to coffee etc in grams so you don’t have to measure it separately just sit it on the scales, zero it and pour in the milk. You can also set a target per day in calories or kilojoules. It adjusts to allow you more calories if you exercise. You can also log your water intake too, all for free. I have tried to use ‘Lose it’ and ‘My fitness Pal’, they are fine if you know how much of a serving you have eaten. If you make a lot of your own foods they are useless as you don’t know how much is a serving unless a recipe lists it. You also have to pay extra to log water intake on ‘lose it’. The only addition which would make it even better would be if you were able to scan barcodes. You can now scan barcodes. Now that you can do that it’s perfect. This is an updated review. Overall a very good app that is helping me to lose weight.

Surprisingly impressed.

This was the first app to pop up when I searched "food trackers" in the app store, and has been the one that I have stuck by ever since. It was a really great idea to have this app Australian made, and it continues to give me a lot of convenience when entering products because I can instantly find the exact ones, unlike other apps based in other countries. If not, I can scan the barcode (though it takes a while for it to register - perhaps a better barcode scanner could improve the app). It's also very convenient in having multiple options for preset and custom serving sizes for the foods.

The layout is simple and easy to use. I quite appreciate the "notes" section as I can put in further details about my day. You may find this helpful if you have medications to take -- you can record that you've taken them on that day and check back to following days, editing previous days if need be (this point covers all data entries, actually.)

I would definitely recommend this to other fellow Australians looking for a food/exercise/weight tracking app.
