Google Docs 4+

This app is fantastic, it is really easy to use and you can make changes to essays and documents while driving to sport. Along with this the sharing feature is very useful as you can share documents with peers or teachers for feed back with two clicks. Coming from a school which doesn’t provide office in which you can share docs like this. It’s much easier to share on google docs as oppose to email a word document, get it reviewed and then open it and save it and make changes. This app is almost flawless however I have one problem with it, I hate the way the formatting and text section is laid out. I would rather it be a button which drops down the specific tools needed. Example, I would prefer if it the letter icon would drop down all the text options (colour font ect) and another icon drop down the formatting icons. I know it isn’t possible to put those in one bar due to screen size but I do that that the icon idea would be easier to use.

I am honestly in love with google docs. It’s visually appealing, it’s easy to use, and most importantly I DON’T NEED A USB. Google docs saved my life. No joke. I can access all my files just under my Gmail. I don’t have to spend hours figuring out word, nor do I spend days looking for my assignment that I somehow misplaced and then have to redo the whole like 30 minutes before it’s due, and then not finishing and getting a 0 and failing a the class (only to find the lost assignment a few days later) and I don’t have to figure out how to put my things in the usb. Seriously, it’s perfect. And if you accidentally delete something, you can just open up history and revert it back. I love you google docs

Google docs is usually my go to but I HATE the way it functions on an i pad I couldn’t even get it working in the chrome browser. I’ve had to end up useing safari to get access to all the functions I wanted. Particularly with editing tables it’s an absolute pain to work within the app. You can’t select multiple cells and delete the text within them which means you have to go through and highlight the text within each individual cell its completely counter productive and I see literally no reason why this can not be done within the app. Sure if someone doesn’t have a keyboard i understand why the app is simplified, but it’s becoming more and more common. GOOGLE PLEASEEEE MAKE AN UPDATE THAT ACCOMMODATES THE USE OF I PAD TRACK PADS AND KEYBOARDS. Additionally the colour selection is horrible as well. I wish there were a way to customise certain things like this. alsooo why can’t i open docs in chrome i even deleted the app and it still wouldn’t let me edit google docs documents in a chrome tab.
