Super easy to use, once your profile is set up - if looking for a room - the app itself will find all matches for you according to your preferences and also suggest any other option that doesn’t match with your preferences 100% but it can be an option. I was the one looking for a room so I had the options listed and I contacted the person who was renting the room. It took me 2 weeks to find my new place so definitely super easy to use and helpful! I will probably use this in the future again if I’ll need another room as I’m satisfied with the service.

ok but why is this app lowkey homophobic

upon signing up there’s only two options for gender which was already a bit weird, but it’s housing together so I get that I guess, but then the app also asks for your sexuality. I was so genuinely confused as to why they would need this information until I realised that people could choose to not want to share a house with people who were lgbt. I get only wanting a house of males or females, but I don’t really think that who you’re dating should be able to have any impact on whether you have a roof over your head. It’s such a shame because everything else seemed really professional, but the homophobic undertones of the app really ruined it for me.

My profile was deactivated because I had selected many locations where I would like to live. In a time of crisis and rising homelessness they want you to limit your search to a maximum of 5 suburbs. Absolutely ridiculous and incredibly tough for those desperate to find accommodation. Especially those of us with pets who are now considered even more undesirable. At this time many people are struggling and do not have the luxury of finding safe lodging close to their work. Therefore we have to use a wide net to find a home but this results in deactivation. Even some government and social services are promoting this resource when it actively excludes those that have limited options.
